My only complaint is the shower water pressure was a bit low. Other than that, the room was super clean, the bed comfortable and the ac worked well. I will stay again in the future.

In a hurry to book a room for a concert at Amalie Arena and went with the positive reviews though some of the negatives had me scared. Read on for my experience. Location: Not a bad location. A Uber ride to the arena cost around $20, so expect to spend $40 on transportation unless you drive yourself. Parking around the arena is about $20. While the street the Sleep Inn was on looked typical of a road leading to a military installation, it was still quiet and safe. The Puerto Rican sandwich shop next door was perfect for lunch. Room: Clean and ready for a guest. A/C worked great, DirectTV, microwave, minifridge, iron/board, hair dryer, pod coffee maker...all the typical stuff was there, working, and appeared clean. The only negatives I can mention is the odd smell of the room and a single stray hair on the bathroom floor. The smell wasn't overwhelming at all and very unusual. In seconds you couldn't smell it anymore. It was just weird. Bed: Comfy and clean. Took a good look at the sheets which were white and had no stains. Bed was soft and the covers adequate for those who run hot or cold. Service: Jules was a great host who greeted us during check in. She provided all the info we needed and was polite and professional. Other: The breakfast offered was also typical: a variety of hot items and cold items. All good if you're not a snob. However, I would have preferred brewed coffee over machine dispensed coffee.

The motel site was 35 miles away from church where my brother's funeral was to be held. I had intended to cook at a site near Ruskin, Fl. When the desk clerk asked for my license and card, I gave them only to discover that this was the WRONG hotel. I politely explained and asked to cancel and/or use funds for a hotel much closer. Expedia personnel were not helpful; in fact, they were hateful and insistent that nothing could be done. The hotel manager was called, but I do not know what the decision was.We did NOT stay at this facility so I cannot rate it in terms of particulars. I had no choice but to go on to the Ruskin area after having driven 7 hours that day. I ask that you refund the charge or see that Expedia does so since the Am Express payment was sent to them.Thank you for your attention. Gayle W. Westbrook, Ph.D.

The staff takes pride in their work. The level of service no matter the time of day is always the same, excellent! The room was perfect. I especially enjoyed how soft and comfortable the bed sheets felt, allowing me to rest well. I will definitely return on my next visit!

I thought the hotel was nice. But only has one elevator and when you are in the 4th floor it’s difficult. And in the bathroom the sink was slow running and toilet kept running and we kept having to fix chain inside toilet. And nothing was close by we had to get in car to get any food. But breakfast was nice I only had coffee and yogurt. But it seemed all the other quests liked it.

The hotel was nice, however some of the tenants were loud and management did not address the issue. There are signs posted throughout the property about noise complaints. It did not mean anything.
