"We had a great stay, the Innkeeper Brian was awesome. The hotel is very clean and has nice little touches like a freshly prepared continental breakfast, good coffee, and for those who need it a nice little smoking area set up outside. The hotel is walking distance from busy Central Ave where we walked each night to have dinner. I would say this hotel has immense value if that’s the type of hotel you’re looking for. Oh and the bed was very comfortable along with the nice cool AC, I slept like a baby as the hotel was full but still had a nice quiet presence. We will be back as we’re looking for a new home in the area :)"

"We absolutely loved the ambience of this hotel. We usually stay at their sister hotel The Hollander, but they were all booked for the Christmas vacation so we stayed at the Avalon. Both hotels are wonderful and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We were able to use all of the amenities at The Hollander which was great. The swimming pool, pool side bar, and restaurant were all just wonderful. Would definitely stay at either hotel in the future and highly recommend both hotels if you find yourself in St. Petersburg Downtown."
