"The place was nicely quiet, everyone was so nice. The only negative was the road getting there. So is all of Costa Rica. The staff were very friendly, ocean & beach great. We loved it!"

The hotel itself is truly beautiful, carefully maintained, and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The included breakfast is another highlight: the variety is excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from every morning. The location couldn’t be better, perfectly situated to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Without a doubt, it’s the best hotel in the area. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back."

"The location was perfect — with easy access to Curú Park, Santa Teresa, and Montezuma. Cóbano was just a few minutes away, offering great supermarkets and an ATM, which made things very convenient. The resort itself was beautiful, well‑kept, and thoughtfully landscaped. The pool was magnificent; we swam multiple times a day, including refreshing evening swims. Staff members Emy and Andrea were wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. Food at the hotel was delicious, and breakfast was included, which was a great touch. We also loved discovering a few local sodas within walking distance — each one was amazing and added to the authentic experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Tambor Tropical offers a blend of comfort, hospitality, and easy access to nearby adventures that makes it a standout choice in the area."

"Room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked well, breakfast was amazing!, views were incredible! We watched (and heard!) capuchin and howler monkeys around the hotel; swam in the clean, warm pool; enjoyed the abundant flowering plants; and ate at the lovely outdoor, reasonably-priced restaurant Location was close to bioluminescence waters, Curu Nature Reserve and more. We will stay here again!"
