"My room was great! I had my own spa bath which I enjoyed every night of my 5 night stay. The staff were helpful, friendly, amazing & felt like family by the time I left. Walking through the park across the road bare foot was yummy & it was so easy to access food, clothes & medical assistance. It is also close to bus stops & the metro which are both ready to catch. "I gave it five stars in each category because they were great in all of them, but it’s not your typical five star property because it’s not a fancy place. It was clean, comfortable (mattresses was okay but not super comfortable), and very inexpensive. I’d recommend to anyone who wanted a nice, clean and safe place to stay. If you want luxury, that’s not this, but I liked it and I’d stay there again in a minute. Super close to a mall and huge park as well as the soccer stadium and transportation....

Train of the Volcanoes In Alexander von Humboldt’s foosteps http://trenecuador.com/en/train-of-the-volcanoes-in-alexander-von-humboldts-foosteps/ The first segment of track to be rehabilitated following the declaration of the Ecuadorian Railways as a national heritage, the journey from Quito south towards the great colossus of Cotopaxi has been running since 2009. It remains one of the most beautiful and memorable in the country. The journey begins at the historic train station of Chimbacalle, whose history dates back to when the Guayaquil to Quito railway was finally completed in 1908. Here, amid this friendly neighbourhood – a mix of residential homes and businesses – the train sets off for its route southwards along the famous ‘Avenue of the Volcanoes’, thus named by the great Prussian explorer, Alexander Von Humboldt.
