My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. "Comfortable stay deep in the mountains with stunning views and pleasing decor, except for the insects that bothered just one of us at night The apartment had 3 levels with the steep stairs to the bathroom below, it took time to get used to it. The road close to the location is narrow, curvy and challenging but worth the drive. The host did not speak English. The kitchen had everything we needed except for the lid for the kettle. We appreciate that place like that existed deep in nature."

"The setting is fantastic, almost on a mountain top. The hotel is an old monastery with 3ft wide walls and wonderful views of nature. They have a full spa to relax. We took one of the many walking routes around the hotel. Highly recommend if you like hiking through tons of greenery. The temperature was warm during the day and cool at night. All personnel we interacted with was very helpful and amicable. I recommend contacting the hotel directly if you are not driving from Ourense, our navigator got a bit confused."

"This was a strange spot but amazing location. The elevator was tiny but it worked. The room needs an upgrade and you could hear EVERYTHING in the rooms beside you but it was clean and all in all was good. The coffee shop across the road was lovely. I went nearly every day."
