"This is a lovely rural property that provided us the retreat that we needed. We had the “Moucho” room which had a nice balcony and skylight over the bed. We had great meals in their restaurant and the pool area looked very inviting but the rainy day prevented us from using it. We appreciate how friendly and welcoming they were with us despite our very limited Spanish skills! "

"El alojamiento eran 4plantas, las cuáles 2 y3 había ruido,cocina bastante sucia, la verdad es que optamos por no cocinar ni usar nada. Estabamos en un cuarto sin ascensor, la habitación que nos toca en un principio era menos de 4 metros cuadrados, donde había 2 camas, perchero, silla, televisor, y mesa de noche. "It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area."

"Lovely hotel. The staff were amazing. Really quiet location with clean functional rooms. Could really do with aircon. Had to open the windows and got eaten alive by mozzies. Embarrassing we didn’t know more spainsh made ordering food etc tricky but nice stay"
