We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel over New years. The staff and management (especially owner Rizeya) were wonderful, so friendly and made us feel at home ! The property is gorgeous, spacious rooms with stunning views and everything was clean & well maintained. The food was delicious, too ! Would highly recommend this hotel !

What a fantastic experience it was staying here. Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. The views are breathtaking. They also cooked dinner for us one night - which was superb. We were advised to stay here by both family and...

Their performance in arranging a guide for Adam's Peak and car transfer to Negombo left something to be desired. Otherwise they deserve the plaudits given them by other reviewers.

Set amongst rolling green hills with misty mornings and evenings to give it a beautiful cosy feeling

A Peaceful Home Away From Home Our family absolutely loved our stay at Tathya Hills Luxury Retreat. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. Nestled in the hills just a short drive from the town centre and Lovers Leap Waterfall, the property offers a peaceful escape surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our family room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our family of four. The bathroom was well-appointed, and the heater kept the...

Thanks to Villam, Sanjaya and the team. This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy. Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. The 2 story villa is cosy and comfortable with all necessary amenities provided including coffee machine, microwave, fridge, usb speaker, sofa, dining table, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom has a wow factor and the beds were super comfortable. We stayed as a family of 4...

Amazing views and vibe. Boutique classic feel to the rooms, which were comfy and clean. Great stylist. Friendly crew welcoming and with a quick check in. Would stay again in the future. Great walking distance to centre of town also. Cheers

We loved the staff and owner here - they treated us like family and we felt like we were staying with friends. The hotel is only very very recently opened, and they are still building their boutique service. This will improve with time and we could not speak more highly of their warmth and enthusiasm. No doubt with time, they will become more well-oiled. The food was excellent, the rooms were super comfortable and the location, while a little out of town, is only a short tuk-tuk ride away -...

Think Fresh Prince of Bell Air, Think Jetwings Bungalow. Sanath is your very own Uncle Geoff, there's very little that man can't do. Food is impeccable, service is attentive and the setting is of a colonial home. It truly is nostalgia magnified.

Beautiful building and gardens. Rooms were clean and comfortable and hotel in a great location. Extensive buffet breakfast and super helpful staff.
