First we ordered a room decoration for a special event- they forgot. We ordered bottle of wine to the room and asked twice if they have this bottle and they said yes. In the moment of room service came- he brings another kind of wine and saying that the one we ordered is gone. And for the end, we both got maguire diarrhea from their food.

This resort is a stunningly beautiful place to spend a few days. The pool is gorgeous and there is the beach right there. Quests can take advantage of available bikes, canoes and surfboards anytime and the staff cannot do enough to help and be of service. Buffet breakfast is amazing and there are 2 restaurants within the resort for other meals. There is a spa offering relaxing services.

My husband and I booked this hotel originally back in 2019 for what was meant to be our honeymoon in 2020, Covid had other ideas so was postponed twice. Firstly the hotel was amazing at communicating with me when trying to move our booking. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was simply perfect. The staff, the facilities, our room, the bar and restaurants were just amazing. We ate in the hotel almost every night and had plenty of variety. We really felt the hotel had everything we could need so we rarely ventured into town, we just enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer and really felt so relaxed there. We stayed in the beach pool villa and we have never been somewhere so beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. Beauty who worked there was there to help us with anything we needed and we really felt she went above and beyond to make our stay feel so special, she was just incredible. I cannot rave about this place enough, if we return to Khao Lak we could simply not imagine staying anywhere else. I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say about our stay here we simply fell in love with the place!

Devasom was up to date and was a spectacular property. I had a room with a pool that opened up to the lagoon. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was celebrating my Spouse's birthday and the team made her birthday very memorable with flowers, wine, cake, etc...

Smaller boutique resort relatively new with Mediterranean feel. Restaurant on the beach was great. The Thai restaurant was a little disappointing as the food was served cold. The restaurant responded well when we gave feedback. I would go back for another visit. The other advantage is they don’t overcharge for food and massage services. They should improve wine selections if possible with a few special occasion top wines.

Perfect beach holiday choice
Beautiful property on a wide stretch of clean sand, and in a relatively quiet area. We had a pool room with beach view. It was huge, perfectly appointed and very comfortable.

Pros : lovely quiet location on a gorgeous beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Our room was enormous and very comfortable. Cons: the most expensive laundry service that we have ever used, we suggest you go up the beach an use the THB80/kg option. The quiet zone sun beds on the beachfront are out of sight from the beach/pool attendants so you have to go backwards and forwards to ask for towels/water, etc as no service seems to be provided in this area.

Highly recommended
Devasom Khao Lak is a wonderful hotel with amazing views and service and generally just paradise. We went for total chill out and ultimate luxury and this is what we got. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, location on the beach was fantastic and the sun shone every day! Service at the pool could have been a little better but that’s really my only complaint! Would definitely go back.

Beautiful resort, comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great chief and service staff in the western cuisine. Except the SPA charges even with the discount is on the high side.

Amazing place! I’m telling you no picture can’t do it justice. The staff, the food, the room are really great. I’m not one to travel much in the country but this place is now on the top list of the best stay I ever had.

Lovely hotel, quiet area, and a clean Beach!
The Devasom Khao Lak is a very nice hotel in a very quite and still pristine part of Thailand. I have been coming to Thailand since 2003 and every year the beaches seemed to have been getting more an more filthy. Staying at this hotel made me appreciate the clean Thai beaches i have been missing. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. We ate at the pool side restaurant and the food and staff were lovely and accomodating. This is a fairly remote and quiet area so if you're looking for the parties of Patong or Chewang this hotel and area are not for you.

The hotel is wonderful. Very new, great decor and facilities. The breakfast was also enjoyable as was the poolside restaurant. The beach area isn't as pleasant as I had expected and the day spa is not yet operational and operating out of one of the hotel rooms. The cost of the day spa is also very very high. In addition, the cost of taxis and transfers from the hotel are over priced given there are no neighbouring restaurants or massage venues etc.

Excellent property which has just recently opened. Very spacious rooms and amazing pool. We had a lovely, but all too short stay. The only negative was guests reserving sun beds early in the morning and not returning for hours. Very annoying. Management need to do something about this. A big thank you to the restaurant manager for resolving any issues we had. Highly recommend this 5* star hotel.

Khao Lak Hotel
The hotel exceeded my expectations. It's a new property with only 69 rooms located on a beautiful beach. The service was excellent. The room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast selection was very good. A shuttle service enables rides to the central business district. My only criticism is that the hotel should have beach chairs set up.

非常に清潔。ちゃんと駆除されていてビーチサイドの割に虫も少ない。レストランは2つありどちらもミシュラン掲載店で非常に美味しかった。日替わりのアクティビティや、プールなども充実。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切でした。なによりも館内どこで写真を撮っても素敵でした。

Not worth it.
We had two separate bookings and had to change rooms, even though we paid the same amount for all the nights we spent at Devasom. They offered an upgrade (140$ for one night) so we could stay in the same room. We refused and were treated like second class customers onwards: The "better" room (Junior Suite) is almost the same size as the room before and certainly does not feel like a junior suite. We informed the Hotel about being on our honeymoon - not a single congratulation or literally anything. We don't expect anything complimentary, but like a flower on the bed?! Nope. To their critically acclaimed restaurant: we waited 40mins for our food, the first wine bottle we ordered was not available, the second took another 15mins to organize (we had a good view of them searching for the bottle) and to top it all off, one of the servers spent her evening texting on her phone, giggling. Also fun fact: we had a voucher for 10% off, saying no need to bring to the restaurant. Of course we were not given any discount. Pool staff is great, water is exchanged and they are really attentive. Beach chairs are okay, have had more comfortable ones.
