The staff were very friendly and let me park my bike in front of the hotel for free. The lobby was full of interesting furniture and instruments so it had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately my room smelled like a barn. I live in a house with tatami so I am used to the smell of tatami, but the smell in this room was overpowering. The toilet was noisy for a long time after a flush because water pressure for the room was low and it took a long time to refill the tank. The sink was also only giving a trickle. The onsen facility was well kept though.

非常有歷史嘅酒店， 好多歷史文物， Lobby 非常多野睇，好靚， 留聲機，黑膠唱片，古董音樂盒， 古董鋼琴。。etc ,令人目不暇給！ 古色古香嘅Lobby 有免費coffee 和綠茶飲， 可以用佢放係到好靚嘅咖啡杯黎飲，enioy! 非戰之罪就係建築物太舊(百幾年歷史) 樓上唔夠水壓沖涼， 要求我地落去溫泉個大浴場沖涼， 同埋房間水管太舊，啲水要開一陣間先乾淨冇鐵銹， 同埋佢係冇廚房嘅， 食乜都要出去食或者外賣番去， 不過睇樓下啲古董都夠啦

The Takeo Onsen Kyotoya is a traditional Japanese hotel. I wanted the tatami mat and futon experience and this property exceeded my expectations. I enjoy the older style of hotel as the nostalgia of the experience is valuable to me. The room and bath were well appointed and very comfortable. My room had a great view of an interesting rock formation on the top of a mountain nearby. The location is within a 10 minute easy flat and wide walk from the station. When you get to the family mart you are almost there.

充滿驚喜

優雅的大廳充滿古董擺設令人興奮，每一個角落都是打卡位。職員親切，還讓我們玩手動留聲機。旅館地點方便，武雄溫泉駅行 10 分鐘便到，如果行李不多，還可預約古董車到駅接你。房間是傳統日式設計，但行李只能在玄關打開。

お部屋は前室もあり広かったのですが、お部屋の前に共用トイレがあり、そこからの臭いが部屋に入ってくるのが最悪でした。 古い宿なのである程度施設の老朽化は覚悟していたのですが、これだけが頂けません。
