"Hotel was great, spa was fantastic. Staff were quite inattentive though, especially at breakfast where they often disappeared altogether"

Historic Village Escape – Burgo de Osma

Historic Village Escape – Burgo de Osma

8/10 Good
"The good - Convenient location. Nice town. Nice views. Reasonably comfortable and all the facilities worked ok. Good price for the Eclipse week. The not so good - Poor pre check in communication, had to chase for check in details the day before arrival. Then we needed to provide all passport information. In the summer the apartment gets hot, there is no a/c and no fans. Opening windows helps but the front rooms are very noisy from the road. The actuals - there are 4 flights of stairs to go up with no lift. There is no allocated parking. Depending on how busy it is, be prepared to park away from the accommodation. Tip for future visitors, follow the entry instructions carefully, you have to wait a long time for the downstairs door to buzz open, be patient, it will work!"

8/10 Good
"Hotel was in a great position in town and had a good sized room and bed . Our stay included breakfast but instead of a buffet breakfast at the hotel it was in the cafeteria next door attached to the hotel. It wasn't clear for a foreign traveller as to what we could have as it wasn't a buffet. A piece of paper with some clear choices would have been helpful. What we got was fine and adequate but the process detracted from the ambiance of the hotel."
