The Grand Hotel
Initially we were assigned to a room on the second floor. but upon I opened balcony door, a strong smell of kitchen fumes hit me. Later we were moved to seventh floor. The hotel guests have no priority to book its own restaurant. It was fully booked out in the afternoon. We had to go back to city ...

MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao
I booked a double room for two days icluding breakfast. To our suprise it turned our that only one breakfast was included. That is very bad, I feel fooled. During the last thirty years I have always searched for hotel including breakfast. My wife did not get any breakfast.

Eastin Taipei Hotel
The windowless room was small but clean and was perfect for a single traveller. Soundproof isn't so great. Doors slam pretty hard and loud. If you are a light sleeper you might get woken up by neighbours who aren't very careful about closing the door quietly.
