Easy check in with professional staff member. Long walk to room but cart available. Some rooms overlook ocean, others the garden area. Patios are a plus. Rooms are well equipped for self-catering but there’s a restaurant too.

Was lovely location to stay in Taipa . So close to the beach and nice to have a restaurant onsite . The place could do with a little bit of TLC our room was a bit rundown but still very comfortable.

Honestly, I had read some not so good feedback and did have second thoughts about making the booking. I have no idea what they were talking about. Our experience was nothing but positive. From the staff to the food, I don't have anything negative to say. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was awesome and the service was quick. The atmosphere was relaxed. Most definitely going back.

Fabulous staff and lovely spacious rooms. Some maintenance needed in the restaurant/bar area, and perhaps new carpet in rooms, but didn't bother us at all. The pool was so warm and inviting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day break. The resort was the cleanest we have ever stayed in and every single staff member from reception to restaurant to house keeping were super friendly...it certainly makes a difference and that's why we enjoyed it so much. The weather was atrocious but we can imagine on a beautiful day Taipa Bay Resort would be paradise.

Seen better days!

Fine for a couple of days. Well-equipped, beach view room was clean but “tired”, as was the hotel in general. Staff all courteous and helpful. Let down by the restaurant, in terms of food quality (“cooked” breakfast was tepid on second day: needed longer in the microwave!), comfort and ambience. At times it felt like eating at a rugby match, thanks to extremely noisy, largely male party of 10 trying to out-shout each other.

The rooms were excellent BUT there was no weekend house keeping. The reception staff were great but the Saturday 3.08. 2024 cleaning staff let the resort down. Will definitely recommend Taipa Bay Restort to everyone so just sort out the house keeping.

Property old and tired - seems like it has been given up on. Tennis court net hanging off, no balls to use, mould on court - and place generally in disrepair. Gate from porch falling off hinges. Place needs a good renovation

Great place to spend some time, located right across from the beach and stunning bay! Room was good sized and had all the things you need, cooktop included. And the bifold doors opened up nicely to allow the sea breeze in and spilled onto the outdoor space towards the beach(ocean view room). Nice comfy stay recommend to all
