"Nice hotel near Nelson central, quiet if you get s room away from the road. Clean room but the armchairs and carpets are old and need regular cleaning. Comfortable bed, welcoming staff. No lift so I found it hard to carry the luggage upstairs. Restaurant was nice, full on a Tuesday night! Good variety in drinks, meals good too but arrived late as they were short staffed. Overall a good stay for that price, I would recommend."

It is very close to a busy road, but there is not much traffic during the night so not a big problem. Close to a nice beach and good restaurants (but avoid the “Italian” nearby, it's terrible.
