"I stayed here with my family of 5 and this house was the perfect size for us (2 adults, 3 kids: 11-17 in age). The property is a nice 15 minute walk to the main strip of Kings Beach and about a 10 minute walk from Safeway. The house itself was clean and we enjoyed the log cabin feel of the interior. "We went there as two couple and a single adult. The house is as described in the listing. Even though it has the sq footage of the place, I thought it’d be bigger. For our group, it felt a little tight. The living room isn’t really set up for more than four people at the most if the TV is on. We spent most of our time on the front porch with a filtered view of lake. It was nice out there and only really hot for an hour when it was in direct sun. The grill was also nice and in good shape....

"We enjoyed access to the beach, and when we had questions we got answers almost immediately. The kitchen is upstairs which you can’t tell from the photos, and the bed in the upstairs bedroom (off the kitchen) was so hard & uncomfortable we ended up moving downstairs. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. We stocked k cups for the next guests but I’m thinking it was closed for the winter- there is a keurig and a coffee pot but also a nice Safeway less than a mile away for whatever you might want."

"House was awesome plenty of room we had 10 people of which we had 3 couples. Only issue is we wanted to have 2 additional people stay which we had room for we had 2 empty bedrooms and they were not permitted to stay as they said the house only had a permit for 10 which was a bummer as they had to stay at a hotel."

"The place is really well appointed remodel but there is no hot tub, which is 100% listed as a top amenity, and it doesn't exist. I sent many messages prior to booking that it lists hottub but has no photos and they said "we are getting you a photo". Running out of time to book we believed them and booked, but there was no hot tub. Why a big deal? My whole goal was a private outdoor hottub as I knew we'd be on a stressful work trip. "Cozy home. Needs a bit of updating. For example the cookware was in bad shape. No lighters or matches to get the wood burning fireplace going. The promoted games in game room, some were broken. Other wise a good place to stay with family."

"The house was excellent - clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We did run into an issue with the dashwasher not working, but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. We will plan to stay here again if we're able."

"We had a wonderful stay! The listing was very accurately representative of the condo. Comfy beds and clean. One of the paintings in family room was not hung but secured behind the couch. The dishwasher did not have a steam function so we had to hand dry all washed dishes after it completed its cycle. There was no broom unfortunately but we made do with a vacuum. But overall, a good stay. Had good communication with rental company vacasa when we had questions. Great location! Thanks! Thanks!"

"We enjoyed our stay here and loved the proximity to Northstar. The space fit well for our group — 4 adults and 2 kids. The house is listed as fitting 8 people, but it seems like that would be tight. The only small negative is that it was not well stocked with essentials like salt & pepper or extra toilet paper. The local staff did bring more toilet paper, but only on the second to last day of our trip. Otherwise, no complaints. A nice, cozy home perfect for a ski vacation."
