Gorgeous, Comfortable and Tranquil
Only 3 of us stayed here, so it was way more room than we needed, but I'm so glad we booked it. Everything was absolutely lovely. The pictures don't do it justice. Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, and everything you could possibly need for a family holiday or a large group of friends. Pictures don't do it justice.

A perfect getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villla Casa Maria! We were having a family get together and it was just perfect! The property was super clean when we got there, the check in process was simple and Sharlene made it very easy for us to find the place. The location and amenities went beyond our expectations. It is the ideal place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy time with loved ones! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to have a fantastic vacation in the midst of nature!

A unique place to stay
This place is well suited for a close family to stay and relax. The decor and the character of the villa has made it a very unique experience and we highly recommend reserving time to stay in the villa to truely submerge into the Tuscany living experience. The kitchen is fully functional and well stocked and superbly organised which makes cooking a meal at this place a very practical option which adds to the experience.

Fantastic - highly recommend!
We can’t talk highly enough of the property or Sharlene! The house was even better than the photos, absolutely perfect and had any ammenities you could think of or want. The location was awesome, and so close to lots of options on the days we spent away from the house. The icing on the cake was that we could have our family dogs with us on Christmas. Highly recommend, we all loved our stay!

What a beautiful, tranquil hideaway. Fabulous hosts, good communication. Definitely coming back. Comfy beds, could not fault in anyway, except for shower head in second bathroom, kept falling down on head.

A beautiful 4 bedroom 2 bathroom villa with great views, hot tub, games room, massive DVD collection, netflix, sky, unlimited wifi. The beds were super comfy for us! Thank you for having us over.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Be booked this house as a place to gather for a 50th birthday reunion. The weekend was always going to be wonderful, but this beautiful house made it phenomenal. Warm, inviting, luxurious and stocked with everything we needed. We were sorry to leave, and will definitely return.

Excellent tuscany style villa
The villa is excellent for family getogethers and sharing time with friends. We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with our family. When we arrived we immediately felt chilled and de-stressed. Lots of different spaces for adults, teens children and family dogs. The hosts were excellent communicators and answered any questions we had within minutes. We would like to spend time at your other holiday properties

Best place you wouldn't want to leave
This property had everything for a lovely relaxing quiet escape. The house was very clean and very very comfortable. Enough room for everyone to have their own space but still spent quality together time. We loved the lawn games, the spa and all the movies. The veranda was amazing and you can be outside in any weather. The beautiful surroundings and birds made for hours of relaxation. Communication was great and instructions were easy to check in and out. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return.

A Great Retreat rain of shine
Incredible property! One of the best we’ve stayed in. The highlight is the covered patio because rain or shine you can enjoy the ample sitting areas, hammock and of course the spa pool! The portion of the roof over the spa pool is clear so makes for great stargazing or just getting some sun. Amazing and well stocked kitchen meant for a chef so bring all your ingredients and forget about eating out. Great communication with the host. Close to Tauranga for an easy day trip but honestly why would you leave this place! Hope to be back soon.

Lovely house and grounds, very quiet and relaxing. Great if you have a dog. Good facilities, coffee machine and beans were a nice touch. Great to have a fire. It would be nice to have one room with twin beds.

A wonderful property that is extremely family and pet friendly - such a selection of dvds, books etc. Would be handy to have power points in the bathrooms and more lighting in the first bathroom, only one light worked, was very dark. Very nice place to stay, thank you

We had the most amazing stay at this Tuscany Villa truly felt like we were in Northern Italy with a twist of kiwiana. Fantastic kitchen to prepare incredible feasts. The big open fireplace was a treat to gather around in the evening and play board games or read.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was so nicely themed, and everything matched.. the rooms were awesome. I'm one to complain about pillows, but here I loved the pillows too.. The kitchen was amazing! - from the coffee machine to the Hugh stove and ovens.. cooking here was fun..

Fun and peaceful experience
There was nine of us adults that stayed in the villa from ages 28 to 60, and there was plenty for us to do at the villa from playing badminton and nature exploring to playing board games indoor. It's so peaceful and beautiful, living up to its expectations in providing a luxury retreat fit for all ages that we didn't want to leave. Best holiday spot for short or long holiday and a great place to celebrate a birthday.

A great property for a retreat, a catch-up or romantic get-a-way
We were a group of 12 meeting up from all over the North Island to help celebrate a milestone birthday. The house and property lent itself perfectly as a venue that successfully kept everyone entertained and at the same time, gave people places to have time to themselves if they needed it. At no time did we feel closed in or stumbling over each other. We were lucky with the weather too, and spent most of our time sitting outside under the decking, either talking over a drink, eating or enjoying the spa. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and the wonderful linens. The dawn chorus was something wonderful, if you are staying at this property, make sure you're awake in time to hear it. Also, the hunt in the evening to find the glow worms was a must do for anyone, several in our party had never seen them before, but they were amazing!!! *On a side note, I have to say we had booked to go to the Flat White Cafe in Waihi Beach for a large birthday dinner one night and they refused to seat us all together, the management were rude and offensive and some members of the group did not even get what they had ordered. Being such a large group, we had the potential to spend big, including drinks. But we all only had 1 main and left. The experience left 11 of us upset and annoyed that the birthday dinner had been completely spoilt. I doubt any of us will go back. There are better eateries to support. It was wonderful to come back to the relaxing atmosphere of the villa! Thanks for having us stay!

Our mid-week getaway from the big smoke.
This beautiful abode was one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed and that’s coming from a travel enthusiast. As creative entrepreneurs, parents to a newly one year old and a housewife/a mental health nurse—we needed a break away from the craziness of Auckland City (thanks covid lol!) and it’s safe to say we picked the perfect place. From relaxing in the spa at sun down, bathed in the fresh atmosphere of the forest and river, to enjoying some beverages with some friends over some gaming in the comfort of the lounge. We made use of the chess board (I won both times I played haha yusss) and cooked for every meal because when do we get to see a view like that while we cook a buffet breakfast? Never! Lol. Plus it was a handy spot close to town but still far enough to feel remote. Ticked all of our boxes and had many pleasant surprises. We’ll be back for sure! Jas xx

A little piece of paradise
This facility is located in a rural setting that couldn't be more perfect. Every meal was eaten outside on the verandah that over looked the yard, while listening to the huge variety of birdsong. Indoors is spacious and beautiful in that old world way, yet plenty of modern amenities.

It was a really great stay!
The house was very lovely! The atmosphere was also magical and there are a lot of thing we can do while we stay at the house. And I was in love with the bathtub outside, it really gave us a good relaxing time! What I would be most dissapointed would be that the wifi was not working at all when we tried to connect it, and there were some kinds of worms falling down from the ceiling on to our air mattress. Although it wouldn't be that surprising since the house built up from woods, but it will be great if you can do something about it too. Other than this fact it was a really great stay!

It seems you are reviewing the wrong house, we do not have an outdoor bathtub, nore and worms falling from the ceiling or wifi issues when you stayed. Yourve reviewed the house 8 months after yourve stayed and it seems mixed up the houses. Please correct your review. Thankyou

Wonderful and lovely home just minutes away from in New Zealand Kati Kati town
We just spent some quality time in this fabulous property located just minutes away from Kati Kati a town located within 90 minutes drive South of Auckland New Zealand. We couldn't be happier with the property. The home is in a beautiful and lush location with plenty of beautiful sights and closed to major attractions. We were looking for a home within close distance to local parks to explore and hike as we wanted to experience the outdoors life while in NZ and within close distance to touristic attractions. We found both and could not be happier. We drove to Rotorua to experience its natural geiser, museum and local culture. A learning experience for us, we loved all The home is well suited for families and large groups with plenty of space for everyone. The house is nicely furnished with comfy furniture and beds, the latest appliances and plenty of towels for entire family. We specially enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds and quietness of the place. A local creek run thru the property adding the never ending sound of running water to the location. We found that enchanting. Overall we had a wonderful experience in NZ in general and in this home in particular. We could not be more pleased. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking to explore nature, beaches and all New Zeala ND has to offer.
