"This hotel is spectacular, it has personalized service, they are very welcoming and always ready for whatever you need, we loved our experience at this hotel, and I also want to thank Mr Yasser, our Guide Arnaldo and everyone who made our stay incredible! I highly recommend the hotel, and we will definitely return to Cairo and the Sun and Sand guest house!"
"HORRIBLE. DICEN QUE TIENEN SAUNA, SPA, GIMNASIO.. LLEGAMOS Y DICEN QUE NO TIENEN NADA DE ESO QUE LO ESTÁN "RENOVANDO" NO INCLUYE NI AGUA SIQUIERA. LES PONGO UN 0 !!"
"The hotel itself is a bit outdated but we always were comfortable and we felt safe there. The hotel is not in the best area. But it is a short drive from the pyramids. The staff is very friendly and there are restaurants inside. The spa is good. We had a great massage and it was affordable. "
"We stayed here for a single day in December. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food on the roof was also high quality. Perfect spot to park bags and go see the pyramids! "
"The Staff were very helpful, warm & friendly.
Reviewing "The area" is complicated...
The hotel is in a very nice gated area, but the middle of Giza/Cairo does have its issues.
To have a view of The Pyramids from the hotel, and to be within quick walking distance of The Pyramids & The Sphinx, beats those issues."

"Brilliant service all round, Mohammed is very helpful and good. He spends all day for his guests and sleeps in the reception area to be there for others and be helpful. The views are amazing and the owner is lovely as well and asks if there is anything you need. If there is a problem, they will fix it you only have to ask. "
"This was my first visit to Cairo. I’m very pleased that I chose to stay at Sun and Sand Guesthouse. Mr. Yasser was very attentive to every single one of my needs. There’s a beautiful view of the pyramids from the rooftop. You can enjoy breakfast while enjoying the view. The restaurant staff remembered my order and quickly had my breakfast ready each morning. I highly recommend booking tours through Mr. Yasser. Armando (tour guide contracted with the hotel) is very knowledgeable and takes his time with the tours. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Sun and Sand Guesthouse will be my choice of stat for my future visits to Cairo. As a bonus, you are very close to the pyramids and have the opportunity to observe the rich culture, included but not limited to: horse drawn buggies, camels, and donkeys."
"Giza pyramids Inn was exactly what I had hoped for from the description of the booking online. We arranged airport pickup and the driver was there for us on time to take us to the hotel. The rooftop is perfect for a panoramic view of the Giza pyramids and is right next door to Rooftop 7000 which is where we dined. All our needs were met and the staff was friendly. "
"One of the best experiences I had. Walking distance to pyramid park, the food they served for dinner is amazing, and they gave me the best treatment before I left and during stay. Super friendly, helpful, kind, and accommodating. I will stay here again "
"I stayed at Marriott Mena House and it exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect, just steps away from the Pyramids of Giza, with the most incredible view you can imagine. My room looked directly at the Great Pyramid and waking up to that sight was absolutely unforgettable.
The property is well maintained with lush gardens, a beautiful pool, and a blend of modern comfort and historic charm. Service was excellent. Staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Breakfast overlooking the pyramids was another highlight of my stay.
If you visit, I recommend booking a Pyramid View room. It is more expensive but worth every cent for the once-in-a-lifetime experience. Overall, this is the best hotel in Giza and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo."
"I stayed for just one night at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence and had a wonderful solo experience. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease from check-in to check-out.
My room was beautifully prepared, quiet, and very comfortable — perfect for a restful night. The hospitality truly stood out, and even in such a short stay, I felt the warmth and professionalism that make this hotel special.
I look forward to returning for a longer visit in the future!"
"As always, this stay was such a treat. The property is lovely, expansive, and very central, with a large variety of dining options. I was in town for two nights before traveling to their Sharm property for a weeklong stay.
The real highlight of the stay is, unsurprisingly, the amazing staff. Our drop off and in-room check-in were well-coreographed and well-executed. The thoughtful touches from housekeeping are always delightful too (e.g., bookmarks in my books, a Four Seasons-branded cloth for my glasses, etc.). The concierge was magnificent and endlessly helpful. We mentioned in passing that my traveling companion had some stomach issues (the kind you dread getting abroad), and the concierge had the pharmacy deliver medicine for my friend, and later called the room to offer complimentary chicken soup and chamomile tea. The next night, we dined at Byblos, and the staff there were standouts too. My companion was still dealing with stomach issues and couldn't finish his dinner, so the manager took the plate off our check and gave my friend a complimentary pot of chamomile tea (all without being asked). Everyone knew or quickly memorized our names and every member of the staff was all smiles at all times. It was the same standard of excellence all across the board.
Overall another strong showing by the Four Seasons (most recently I spent a week at their property in Florence, if that's helpful context for my standard of comparison here). Thank you to the Nile Plaza team."
"We had an upgrade to executive suites, with breakfast and dinner inclusive.
Room cleaning was done regularly. The female head of the executive suites was ver polite and supportive. "
