"The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped for adults and children. Rooms ,beds etc, very comfortable. So is the kitchen. We were welcomed by the host who ferried us from the train station and took us around the area for amenities & a good restaurant. The host is super helpful and lovely. We felt really looked after. Everything in this place is done thoughtfully and is highly tasteful. Would love to come back soon."

"Property is gorgeous and very well located - lovely beaches and easy to get to from the airport. Communication with host was very difficult. I sent several messages prior to our trip asking for information on the area/recommendations but never got any replies. During our stay, communication was inconsistent. One day I was replied to quickly, the next question I had about taxi recommendations took 2 days for an answer. During check in, the host failed to direct us to the ‘house rules’ which stated details on how the house needed to be left on check out. We left a few cups not washed up and a bin to be taken out (the cleaners had already arrived when we were leaving and had begun work) and were charged 150. A real shame to end the holiday in this way. I hope that the hosts are much clearer with their check in process and rules in the future. "

"Friendly owner. Plenty of space for all 11 of us.We spent most of our time either in the pool, the outdoor kitchen or on the balcony. The family range a from 4 to 60s and we all really enjoyed our time here. Albert told us that the area around the gas station and he was not wrong. We even had to use the car repair place which we can recommend.An added bonus for us was visits from a ginger cat we named Skippy/Skipper/Skipdog. He became quite friendly by the end of our holiday."

"The pool, garden, outdoor kitchen and the view are lovely. We had some great meals sitting outside by the pool. Communication was difficult and I don't believe the English listing was accurate. I know that I searched for properties with AC and a pool, as we were traveling with my 80 year old family member. But the listing does not say AC. This property does not have air conditioning, and gets very hot. The shutters are unsecured so they bang back and forth in any wind. In spite of Uschi's assurances, there are indeed plenty of mosquitoes if you leave the windows open. If you don't mind that, it's a lovely house. It could do with a deep cleaning, lots of spider webs. It also apparently listed the need to bring your own towels on the German listing, but not on the English. I have never had to bring my own linens to any VRBO ever, and with small luggage weight limits flying from overseas, I would not have booked here had I known. If you want to watch TV, you must bring your own DVDs. The listing mentions cable/satellite, but is not accurate. If you want music, you must bring CDs or cassettes. It felt a bit like camping but in a house abandoned in the 80s. "

The location was peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway.We were a bit surprised, however, to find that there was no air conditioning—only one room had daily air circulation. While it didn’t significantly impact our stay, it’s something future guests may want to be aware of, especially during warmer months.We also experienced a power outage during our stay, which temporarily left us without electricity. Thankfully, the owner was very responsive and helpful throughout, and the issue was resolved.Despite these minor inconveniences, we truly enjoyed our time at the villa and would consider returning."
