The check in process was seamless but from the moment we got through the door, the bathroom on the first floor only had 1 light bulb working and the carpet in the bedroom on the main floor was just filthy, stained everywhere like it had never been cleaned in years. As we went to check the kitchen, one of the cabinets was clearly missing screws and fell off. We opened the dishwasher, cuz there was a smell, and there were splotches of food (I hope!) all inside the dishwasher. Going downstairs, we went into the bathroom to scope it out and noticed a few flies flying around, usually, not a problem but as the day went on, there just seemed to be more and more flies appearing from the window. There was bait set and some dead bugs on the window sill. The bedrooms were fine but once again, the splotchy carpet was so concerning and icky. Just when we thought things couldn’t be that bad, the icing on the cake? None of the sockets in the rooms worked. Not sure how this place got approved to be rented out. I’m sure they have good intentions, it’s just so very gross.
