Perched on a hill overlooking the Puget Sound, this high-end property is mere minutes away from all of the entertainment and dining offered in the Proctor neighborhood and downtown Tacoma. We can't wait to host you!

This listing is for the TOP unit of a duplex. Each unit sleeps six and both can be rented for a total of 12 guests.

This tastefully renovated Tacoma property features high-end amenities and a modern vibe. Enjoy a bottle of wine (from the tasting room only blocks away) in front of the gas fireplace. Socialize with guests and enjoy the view while cooking in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances and quartz counters. Enjoy the full en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions, full capacity washer and dryer, and comfortable sleeping space for six guest with a king bed in the front master, queen in the back master, and a surprisingly comfortable full-size hideaway bed in the living room couch.

Our home is one of the more updated, modern, and clean you will come across, with great care taken in nearly every detail. You will not be disappointed after staying with us!

NEIGHBORHOOD
This is by the far the best neighborhood in Tacoma, right in the heart of Old Town and two blocks from the waterfront with expansive views of the Puget Sound. Just minutes from the Tacoma Dome, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, and Point Ruston (with a movie theatre and amazing shopping and dining). Guests can hit the Proctor farmer's market, the fresh fish market on Ruston Way, or explore nightlife in downtown Tacoma. Three are Uber drivers aplenty, the bus stop is within a block, and you can even ride bikes.

Ample on-street parking available, and for persons who cannot do the staircase from the front street, back street parking is also available.

Great stay with gorgeous views

We really enjoyed our time in this home. It was great for our family of 4. There were thoughtful touches, like having shampoo, etc and even toothbrushes and toothpaste! We loved waking up to the fantastic view and lounging in the comfy chair and couch after a busy day of sightseeing. The location was very nice and clean! The hosts were responsive if we had questions. Highly recommend!

Cozy with a Fantastic View

I stayed here for three nights for a work trip and would stay again. The view was beautiful, it was quiet, the beds were very comfortable and the penthouse had all the amenities that we needed. It was a short drive into Old Town Tacoma where we found a lot of quality restaurants.

Lovely trip

We enjoyed our stay at Bay View Penthouse and its close proximity to Chambers Bay Golf and Pantages Theater. The home was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The view of the Sound is beautiful from this home!

This is our second time staying at this property. We LOVE the location and we love the views from this home! This home is very comfortable and the host is easy to communicate with and the beds are comfortable. The coffee shop just down the hill is a favorite also. We will be back!

An Amazing View from the house and property while being located super close to downtown Tacoma

I received an update on how to get into the house after booking. When I arrived I was blown away how close this place was to downtown Tacoma. The front living spaces had a tremendous view that just had me sitting back and looking outside while listening to music. The amenities were awesome with great decor, appliances, with places to sit and feel comfortable. Everything in the house felt new, clean and recently remodeled. It was exactly what my friends and I needed for a weekend night away from Seattle. The owner was super friendly and when I had questions via text about the establishment and nearby areas for recommendations; she was super friendly and quick to answer. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely try to get this place again when I come down south. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Old Town Tacoma Stay

We loved this apartment! So comfortable, stylish and updated, and we appreciated the AC, since we hit a couple of Tacoma's hotter days. Be prepared for some stair climbing to this upper level unit and maybe plan accordingly with duffle bags instead of rolling suitcases. Well worth it for the beautiful view of the sound! I always love staying in a location where there are nearby cafes & restaurants, and it was an easy walk down the hill to Anthem, a cool little coffees shop bistro, and just a little further to Starbucks and the Spar, which serves breakfast lunch and dinner. We checked out the Job Carr Cabin and Museum just down the hill and happened to hit a weekend when they were running a history walk about early immigrants to the neighborhood. Fascinating! Be prepared for good incline walking back uphill to the apartment! (We appreciated the exercise!) We had dinner at the new McMenamin's at old Tacoma Elks Lodge, which is a short drive away and would highly recommend that. Couldn't leave without a visit to Point Defiance Zoo and Point Ruston, so we had a great weekend! We appreciated the quick replies to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this location!

All the basics for a family stay. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, nice bathrooms and clean. Easy check-in. Involved check out- dishwasher loaded, garbages out, recycling sorted, towels to wash area. If stair are challenging for you this might not be the best option. If you are a very light sleeper the train horns in the distance might be an annoyance best option.

Clean, Modern, and Confy!

Our stay here was amazing! The house is gorgeous and had plenty of space and was very tastefully decorated. The master bed/mattress was very comfortable. Sheets were soft and there were plenty of towels and amenities. That living room big round swivel chair was the best! Location and neighborhood - adorable! Very cute area. The parking situation wasn’t the best but everything there is on an hill.

Tacoma Stay

We traveled to Tacoma to visit our UPS student. The rental was a spacious and clean central meeting point with a beautiful view of the sound. Our first morning we were met with no hot water. It was unfortunate not to get that after travel shower but the host was very responsive and the unforeseen issue was fixed by afternoon. Overall we would recommend and stay again.
