I rented this property primarily due to its location. It was a quick run down the hill to the downtown area and Ruston Way, or a very short walk to 6th Street with lots of nightlife. Very clean house and responsive owner. No issues, no complaints.
The home is cozy and inviting. We were able to comfortably explore Tacoma. The house is furnished and decorated beautifully. The owner was very accommodating and place was set up so nicely we didn’t need any more. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Washington.
Spacious and inviting home in a great Tacoma neighborhood
We stayed with family as a home base over the holidays. Beautiful property, great walkable neighborhood, and an amazing kitchen and bathroom. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at this whimsical old home. It has been remodeled so the kitchen and bathroom are up to date yet still retaining the charm of the period of the house. Great backyard for dogs and in a friendly neighborhood close to everything.
I am a travel agent and have stayed in many properties around the world over the years. This is one of those places that I could say I wished I lived here.
Wonderful old home with all the right upgrades. Kitchen was fantastic with lots of room, couches were comfortable, everyone had a bed to sleep in. Wish we could have stayed longer than just one night! Thanks for hosting me and the people I love.
Cleanliness issues were solved quickly and smoothly once we got ahold of the host who provided all the supplies we needed to touch up clean some areas. Host had all missing necessities delivered within an hour if not less which is impressively fast. Host even refunded $50 of cleaning fee to make it up to us for having to clean on our vacation. That was very considerate and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again and would love to check out host's other properties if we ever go that way in the future. We trust and appreciate this host!
Easy access to get anywhere, nicely remodeled, big fenced back yard, attentive property managers. What more could you ask for? Love the big porches, and wide open layout. Yard perfect for my pup to play in the snow! Will stay again.
We went to a show in Tacoma, and this location was perfect. The house looks remodeled with a very modern design, and the rainfall shower head is awesome. The king-sized bed and down pillows were so comfortable! The individual A/C units kept the home warm. We brought our dog who loved laying down on the porch and in the completely fenced backyard. There are also plenty of sidewalks and Wright Park nearby to exercise your pup(s). Carla was so helpful and responsive, and the check-in/out process was easy. We did not use the kitchen, but it seemed to have everything we would have needed to cook any meals. I definitely recommend staying here, and we would want to stay here again!
My 23yr old daughter and I along with our 2 small dogs enjoyed this beautiful place while in Tacoma. Very nice & clean. The backyard was great for our dogs, with the exception of small openings that our dogs could've possibly gotten through, so I kept mine on a leash. Communication with the property owner was above & beyond. Great location, we were just a few minutes to Point Defiance Park and lovely little coffee houses. Neighborhood had a cute general store walking distance & "Hanks Bar & Pizza grill". Definitely cute & cozy with plenty of room. Throughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I could suggest is perhaps blinds or window coverings for the windows above kitchen sink facing the back yard, we are not use to bare windows. We also were not aware that the main trash bins were located behind the fence in the alley, so it took us a bit when we were leaving to take the trash out.
This house was exactly as pictured. We wound up staying longer than attended due to my daughters surgery recovery. It was easy to communicate and make that happen. The only complaint was there was no washer and dryer. I totally missed that in the listing. For longer stays it would be nice to have more towels. Maybe a few more kitchen supplies like mixing bowls/colander. This is perfect for a shorter stay. We will definitely be back!
Hello! Some of my friends were visiting town recently, and we really enjoyed this find. The artwork on the walls was very beautiful and they had everything we needed. Loved the rain shower as well!
