"We had such an amazing time spending the weekend at this spectacular property. The property was close to shops, neighbours were lovely. The house was beautiful, it was perfect for our friends to catch up for a reset. "

"This was a very comfortable house for our stay in Port Macquarie. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery etc. including a dishwasher.Many games, books and DVD's provided. Wi-Fi access was good.The impression of the front view of property is incorrect to the photos, the driveway is rather steep (not level as indicated). Some of the bath towels need an update.A lovely private house in a nice garden setting."

"Beautiful home that was extremely clean. My guests and I loved our stay here. The towels were so soft, the entire house was spotless, the house had beautiful views and was in a great location! Had a beautiful feel to the home. We had a problem with power during our stay but the property manager was super responsive (even being a Saturday night) and resolved our issue so quickly! The only thing I can fault is that I didn’t receive any check in details and had to follow up twice, and the check out instructions came over 8 hours after the check out time. I did asks one small request with our check in which was not met, but other than that it was a beautiful home and we already can’t wait to come back again soon! "

"We loved the pool which was fabulously warm. We never wanted to get out. The house is comfortable and clean, and nice and cool with the AC on. The entertainment system is awesome, except that the bedrooms aren't very sound proof (if you want to watch surround sound TV with a young child needing to sleep). The kitchen was very functional with loads of appliances including an air fryer, outdoor BBQ and dishwasher (although the bigger plates don't fit). Literally it was great. The kids (we have older children) loved the little nook upstairs, although the ladder is a little hard to climb.Very close to the beach, but can be a bit noisy due to being on a main road, and the fact that there is a walking path directly adjacent to the house. Our little doggy also was very comfortable there.This is the very first house we've hired that actually contained a vacuum cleaner, which is great for just mopping up some sand from the beach, and the washer / dryer made it easy to wash our clothes (so you don't have to bring too much).The outdoor area is great, except it would be nice for the cover to extend further. It is not usable when it is pouring, and gets quite hot under direct sun.Is it worth that much money? It depends on what you are after. There are a few trade-offs, but did we mention the pool?"

"The location of the property is great. It’s close to Lighthouse beach. It’s so easy to walk down for a swim or join the coastal track to Shelley Beach at the top of the hill. The view is excellent and the front sitting room is a delight. The pool was perfect for the kids and was quite warm as it gets a lot of sun during the day.The property is located on a busy street and there was a lot of traffic noise especially on Saturday night.We were disappointed with the property manager. We found on arrival that there was no gas in the bbq, and no spare cylinder. We alerted the property manager who promised to fix this ASAP, but didn’t fix it at all during our week long stay. That said, the kitchen was well provisioned and easy to use. The trek into town to get the keys worked ok, but isn’t that convenient.Two bedrooms are small and a bit stuffy. We would have preferred a configuration with one of the rooms having two single beds. I think it would be difficult to sleep the weather was hot.Overall it was a good stay."
