Perfect retreat for some quiet
The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. It is a smaller hotel in a rural type town and you got that small town care from the staff.
