"The place is amazing. The only issue is the breakfast and dinner on offer. They never changed. It was the same thing over and over again. This was hard for someone like me who stayed for three days. It becomes unappetising after a while. Many guests have decided to eat out instead. A little bit of variety could have helped. This can be done well without blowing the budget, if they were adhering to a set amount. Overall, I give it a 4 instead of a 5. But had I stayed only one night, the food...

"This hotel had no desk clerk, but we were able to figure out how to check in and get the room lock code. The room was large by Japanese hotel room standards. It felt like a small apartment. The area had many restaurants and shopping areas close by. The laundry room had four washer/dryers that did an excellent job. They even automatically dispensed laundry detergent, so we didn’t have to go find any at a convenience store. "

"This offers great value for money - it’s very clean, with all the usual hotel amenities (kettle, fridge etc) and in a good location. The only negative is that there was no way to control the temperature in the room apart from turning the heating off and opening the window. The room was too warm for my liking so that would be the only negative point. Otherwise, the stay was excellent and it’s fantastic value for money. "

"A typical business hotel - clean, efficient and good value. Two very minor issues - the property is located at the 'rear' side of the station, so if arriving by train, be careful to take the right exit otherwise you may end up walking around in circles to find it. Also, the check-in is via automated self-serve screen and while there is always someone to help, can be a little confusing to anyone using this system for the first time."

"Have stayed here a couple of times in the past. The hotel is nice, inexpensive, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, it's a good choice for a night's rest. Location is not great. While it's just across the road from Shimonoseki strait coastline, access to the shoreline is very limited by industrial areas. Also very limited dining options, outside the hotel's onsite dining room."
