"The place is simply amazing. You are in the middle of a forest in modern cement villas that simply blend in. Picturew don't do justice to this magnificent habitat that coexsists with nature. When I opened the door to our room, the direct, view of Mt. Fuji took my breath away. The staff is up to par with the experience: attentive, helpful, sharp and meticulous. There is no other place like this to be in touch with nature and enjoy the magnificent Mt. Fuji. "

"This property is superb in every respect. From reception to dining to the location of the property, you could not ask for a better traditional style place to stay. We had a lake side view which was beautiful.
The traditional Japanese style dinner was a great decision. Staff is very, very helpful and courteous.

"Pretty great view of Mt Fuji from the Fuji-view room. Helpful staff and bike rental. Only downside (although a very small issue) was the entire bathroom moves a little bit, not too much, but enough to feel a little off balanced"

"Great stay at Toyoko Inn - there were shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko station to the hotel which was really convenient. Check in was smooth and the room was great too. Was able to see mt Fuji from my room too. Daily breakfast was delicious too - guests had 2 options (either Japanese or Western breakfast) to choose from. There were also some restaurants and convenient shops nearby.
Overall would recommend a stay here!"

"First off. The location is perfect if you're looking for that small town vibe. Hiroyuki-san did a phenomenal job with communicating with us before and during our stay. The fact that they also offer a free shuttle service to and from Kawaguchi Station is a huge plus as well! Oh, and if you're staying in a villa that is facing Mt. Fuji, you will definitely see Mt. Fuji, weather permitting, of course.
Hiroyuki-san was very accommodating to us and was always ready and willing to make sure that our stay was enjoyable.
Honestly, for the price, this place is kinda hard to beat for what it has to offer. If you're looking to stay in the Fujikawaguchiko area, DO NOT miss out on this place!"
