"The staff were friendly- it was already 8:30 pm when we checked in- we went to room - I turned the covers down to look at the sheets- on my bed the sheets were not crisp- there were something that looked like crumbs in the sheet and there was a hair on the sheet. I put my blanket over the sheets to sleep there. the double queen room seemed too small it slept 4 but only had 2 sitting chairs and not enough space for luggage. The entire time we were there I only saw one rolling cart to get you luggage to and from your room. The 3rd floor fire alarm went off Sunday morning. I ended up lugging luggage, and a cooler from the 4th floor- down the stairwells. The pool area was so crowded we never got in the pool. I’m not sure for that price I will stay there again. I usually rent a VRBO in the area. The best thing about the stay was the staff- they were amazing- especially when the fire alarms went off."

"This is a really charming cabin with a beautiful view of the Tennessee River. It has a rustic look but it was very comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of six. The beds were comfortable and very conveniently it has a washer and dryer. Easy access to Shiloh Battlefield. This was a great place to get away and relax. Owner was very prompt with communication. Would definitely stay again!"

"It wasn’t a horrible stay, but it was far from perfect. The property itself has some maintenance issues that need some attention. The mattresses are very discolored, but no bedbugs so that’s a plus. The bathroom in one of our rooms had a foul odor and the freezers were all frosted over. They really need to invest in some blackout curtains, but it is very quiet area. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Rooms are always very clean, beds and linens are equally well cleaned and the place is normally extremely quiet for sleeping. Parking is adequate and we typically have our boat with us and there is space to park it still attached to our car and electric charging facilities are very close by for recharging our trolling batteries. All in al, we have always been very pleased with this facility, the personality, kindness and personality of the owners and staff. It is not a pricey executive resort facility, but rather is a very clean, safe and well managed/maintained location for rest, relaxation and sleeping well after a day of water/fishing either on the adjacent Tennessee River or numerous small recreational and fishing lakes. My wife and I totally enjoy the lack of overly stressful crowds and hustling that normally accompany other fancier accommodations while only wanting a peaceful, safe place to stay overnight comfortably! And the nightly rental rates accommodate our needs as well!"

"Everything was pleasant but it could use a baby gate for the stairs because they are steep and dangerous for children. We had a four year old fall down them. Besides that everything was great."

"We LOVED it here. We had ourselves and two sets of friends/couples come together from 3 different states here and we absolutely loved it here. Everything was so easy to find, the host was amazing before, during and after our stay. The view was fabulous. In fact we spent 99% of our time at the house on the covered/screened porch playing card games and just hanging out enjoying our trip and each other. It was absolutely an amazing trip and amazing location"
