Be wary... Some of the rooms are MUCH nicer than others. They are all classed as the same, but some are more private and spacious. I was sat on the loo when someone walked past outside. They could see straight into the bathroom from a pathway that I didn't know existed out the front!

Beautiful setting, view and friendly staff. Nice attention to detail and little extras. Dinner was a bit salty, steak was very tender but an accompanying sauce would have been good. Both broccoli and pea sides had bacon. One could have come without. I enjoyed the zucchini fritter and trout for breakfast. It was a nice change from my usual GF options. I appreciated having GF well provided for. We had a good stay Thank you

Stunning location overlooking the ocean

We had the three course lunch with matching wine. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional. Wines matched beautifully to the food we ordered. That night we had cocktails by the fire which was delightful. As we were only having finger food for dinner the waiter brought the food to the coffee table so we could eat by the fire. Our room had a verandah with the beautiful view of Whale Beach. We went to sleep to the sound of the waves. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was in the restaurant with that view. It is a short drive to Palm Beach and Pittwater where you can swim or walk. There is a walk up to the lighthouse. You can catch a ferry to different locations on Pittwater. We had a very memorable and wonderful stay. Thank you Jonah's!

Charming small boutique hotel with amazing views over Whale Beach. My one disappointment was receiving an email 30 minutes after checking out to ask whether we had taken a small packet of cashew nuts from the mini bar at €7. We had genuinely forgotten to mention this when checking out, but the staff thought they would still charge us for this as an extra. Really disappointing especially as we had just spent over AUS€2000 at the hotel !!

Amazingly good food in exceptional world class location. Very good room with great views. Great service. Only issue was We were asked TOO MANY times whether we were enjoying the meal. Once is enough!

Pretty good but could do better!

Two nights (dinner and breakfast included) at Jonah's - a treat and an extravagance! what do the real estate people say? Location, location and location! A view to die for! A blend of British upper class (a few bow ties around worn by the staff) meets Australian beach culture - at times a bit discongruous! It is a member of the Relais et Chateau group and as such I would expect their bedside music machine to have the appropriate adaptor for annoying changing Apple products. Furthermore I would expect the fish of the day to change from Monday to Tuesday! On the other hand it is an Australian lodge overlooking one of the best beaches in NSW .... great breakfasts for sure! Maybe I expected too much!

Luxury stay with beautiful seaside location.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay the location was beautiful. We were celebrating our 29th Wedding Anniversary. Staff were friendly and professional. We loved our dinning experience delicious food and service was exceptional.
