"No air con was a huge oversight when we booked this hotel. On the first night there was no fan in the room and the heat was unbearable. Second night we had a fan which helped. The gardens are beautiful and we felt very relaxed after a busy few days of staying in city centres. We enjoyed having a drink in the evening and there are a few options for bar snacks. Breakfast wasnt as good as we expected from other reviews. There were a lot of flies over all food and very little in place to protect the food. In other hotels on this trip the buffet food has been covered or small table fans are in place to keep the flies away. It really put me off the food."

"Breakfast exceeded expectations and conveniently added to our bill. Air conditioning worked very well specially with the heat wave in Europe. Room was decent although not modern only maybe we just came off from a luxury cruise and not actually comparable. We got the right location for a hotel walkable to the main downtown for shopping and restaurants!!!!"

"Nice room but small. Perfect for 1. A/C during the heat wave. . Nice location by the theater 10 minute stroll to Barfoot Platz. 160 feet to one trolly 700 to another and 1000 ft to the 3 rd. Ez to get around. Nice restaurant pool and a 24 hour kabob shop across street."

"A very good hotel which is handy for the airport, a large supermarket and eating opportunities. Spacious room with good seating, AC, shower and bath, kettle, shutters. Very pleasing breakfast but busy with families. We found both the hotel free shuttle from the airport and the local bus to Huningue (then walk over to Weil am Rhein) very useful."

"This Holiday Inn far exceeded my expectations. The staff were magnificent providing helpful information as well as ice bucket, extra towels, and even a can opener. It is conveniently located with a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent and always well stocked with high quality food and beverage items. My only suggestion is the carpet could use a shampooing in our room. My compliments to the Management as it is clear that they wish to provide a high quality stay for their guests."

"The only downside to this stay is parking. Road construction has blocked entrance to the lot. You have to drive on a pedestrian path to get to the entrance which is a sharp 90 degree turn . Level “0” is actually the rooftop the parking app description is a bit confusing."
