"Walden VT 8th grade class of 2025 had a blast at Gray Gables. The host Jeffrey was accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The house is an amazing window to the past and the kids had a great time exploring all its rooms, playing ping pong on the 3rd floor and pool in the billiard room. Some things were a little rough around the edges, but this is a 130 year old house and the character more than made up for it. It had everything we could want or need and we would highly recommend it."

"This accommodation was beautifully clean (thank you!!) and newly updated. It was decorated nicely and had most everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable (firm in the principle bedroom, slightly softer in the bunk bedroom). Just to know: there’s no dishwasher, so expect to hand wash dishes—not terrible at all. "We are so happy with our stay in the tiny house. It's a close drive to the island bike trail and Burlington. The house appears to be brand new. It has all the amenities of home with a few bonuses like the hot tub and sauna. We also liked that it's a short walk to the access the lake where you can easily take a dip! "

"Loved the area but not the house. It had a beautiful view but that's all it had going for it. There were no teaspoons, napkins, tissues or products to wrap food. Luckily had our meals at another VRBO nearby rented by our daughter. Never stayed anywhere that didn't have at least one box of tissues. The lighting in the kitchen was not good. There was a burnt out bulb under the cabinets. The outside patio was filthy, spider webs everywhere, dirty patio furniture. "
