"Even a short stay at The Cottages at Bigfork feels like a restful vacation.Imagine yourself wrapped in a soft hotel bathrobe, seated on the riverside porch of your adorable bungalow. Listen to the gurgling of the cool river water as it rushes by - optionally, stream your favorite music through the cabin's quality Bluetooth speaker - while birds chirp and frisky black squirrels chatter from the surrounding trees. When evening coolness brings you indoors, stretch out on a leather couch in front of the cozy fireplace. Sip some quality wine or coffee gifts from the management. When you are ready, slip between the cool cotton sheets and snuggle into the soft comforter of your luxurious bed. Lights out, campers! We found everything we needed for a three-day getaway either in the well-appointed cabin or by taking a pleasant stroll to downtown Bigfork restaurants, shops, playhouse, and art galleries. I don't need to mention cleanliness because a quality retreat like The Cottages does everything right to the next degree. Tiny details are their forte'. Custom scented toiletries, a coin tray holding a chocolate treat, plus a thoughtful lavender-scented pillow spray at bedside are typical here, but rare elsewhere. We'll be back!"

"The location of this property is simply spectacular. We enjoyed passing the cherry farms along the drive in and the breathtaking view from the deck when we arrived. There are a lot of stairs to the dock but we loved the challenge. The stairs are well built and the owners were cleaver enough to make rest stops along the way. The dock looks relatively new and it was large in scale snuggled into the rocks and trees. The beds were comfortable, the space is well thought out feeling like a cozy cabin inside. The hosts were easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. We would 100% book this property again."

"This was perfect for my family of 6. Kids loved the property with some forest to explore and play in. And really, really loved Swan Lake access 5 min away. The area is rustic, but that is exactly what we wanted (away from town). Glacier National Park is a good distance away, but you have extremely quick access to Swan Lake and Flathead Lake isn't too far away, and the property is very serene with forest surrounding it and flowers blooming right out front (in June at least). Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.Thank you for a wonderful break from reality and for providing this property. Was a very enjoyable time."
