"Room was in a separate building than the main check in lobby so we had to walk an extra 5 minutes in the rain to our room. Other than that, excellent location and amenities. Nice having a small kitchenette and coffee, cereal/milk provided. Close to everything! "

"Quite pleased with my stay at the Alda. Very professional and courteous staff . My room had a balcony so I could walk out and enjoy the views and the weather. Enjoyed having enough space to spread my gear out and get organized. Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. The hotel is in part of the main tourist and shopping area so it is very walkable to most all destinations. Definitely would recommend. "

"From the early check in after a long flight to the convenient check out it was perfect. Felt very welcome and the management provided the best tips on dining and excursions. Will definitely stay at the same hotel when I return to Iceland. "

"Rooms were spacious. The view from the windows were great, although one afternoon there were people on the roof fixing things, so we had to close our shade. The spa was great as far as the hot tub!"
