easyHotel in Sutton at Hone

"Okay so this place is expensive so you would think it will be upmarket - its not. The ONLY thing you are paying for is the location of tower bridge. The building looks like a concrete tower block of old run down flats and the rooms are dark dingy, old fashioned and tired. Most rooms are facing out the back so no actual view of the bridge. The shower doesnt get hot, there is mould in every crack. If you go for the usual double room, dont take any form as suitcase as there is physically no where to put them! They will be in your only narrow walk-space for all your trip. We also got randomly evacuated for hours AND there are horrendously loud building works going on currently that they dont warn you about until check in. Im sad I paid the amount I did for a dark dated room, should have gone premier inn. "

"Stayed three nights. The bed was comfortable and clean. We had breakfast the last morning before our departure and ot was very good. Perfect location to and from the Heathrow aiport, just one train. Tiny bedroom but if you only care about a good and clean bed like I did, then it is perfect for you."

"Hospitality was very good but we were disappointed to find that a service charge was added to all purchases at the bar that we were not told about. We only realised this when reviewing the receipt. Service charges should be at the customers discretion. There was also a £50 deposit that was asked for on arrival but not clearly explained!! This was taken on my bank card (which worried me for the duration of my stay, as I had paid up front and never use room service or charge to my room) and when I asked for the payment to be reversed, as I checked out, and a receipt for the negative payment I was told this was not possible. I was very disappointed that we are not trusted. Now if I had been asked for a credit to authorise any charges, If added, this would have been fine but to take a £50 deposit, with no explanation, is not on. Very disappointed. Spoilt my stay. 😟"

"Fabulous hotel in Shoreditch, just 5-10 mins walk from Liverpool St station. The room was spacious and clean, we were a family of 4 staying and there was ample room. Would definitely recommend. "

"Our stay here was brilliant, the staff were incredibly friendly and we were able to check in early and didn’t have to check out until 12. It’s in a great location and the views were fantastic (particularly exciting for our 4 year old who is obsessed with vehicles!). We were given a free upgrade which really made us feel special. "
