Swiss Holiday Park Resort

10/10 Excellent

"A Lovely Family Stay – We’ll Definitely Be Back! We stayed for four nights in apartment 906 and had a lovely time. The resort has so much to offer, with plenty of activities for both adults and children, making it a fantastic destination for families. The onsite Kids’ Club was a massive bonus, particularly as it was completely free! The swimming pool and adults-only thermal spa were both lovely, and the pool was especially enjoyable in the evenings. The fact that it stays open until 9.30pm is a real bonus when travelling with children. The only thing we would change next time would be the size of the apartment. We booked a 2.5-bedroom apartment, but in reality, it felt more like a one-bedroom apartment, as the second sleeping area consisted of a fold-out bed in the living room. If you’re travelling as a family, we’d definitely recommend opting for a 3.5-bedroom apartment to give yourselves a little more space. The location is also fantastic. Brunnen is just a short hike down the mountain or around five minutes away by bus, and it’s a lovely little town to explore. Lucerne is only around a 30-minute drive away and is absolutely beautiful, making it well worth a visit. Overall, we’ve had a fantastic four-night stay. There’s so much to keep the whole family entertained, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the resort to other families. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Beautiful views and set back from the main (very busy) road. Two wonderful restaurants. Amongst many highlights, the wait staff was exceptionally kind and interacted with us, which made for a very enjoyable meal. We plan to return."

Kempinski Palace Engelberg

10/10 Excellent

"The Kempinski Palace Engelberg is nothing short of exceptional, a masterclass in luxury hospitality that leaves zero room for disappointment. From the moment you arrive, every single detail is executed with precision, elegance, and genuine care. The property itself is pristine, maintaining flawless cleanliness and refined standards throughout. The spa and swimming pool offer an extraordinary wellness perfect for unwinding after a day in the mountains. For evening relaxation, the cigar lounge and bar provide an incredible atmosphere, complete with an outstanding selection of expertly crafted drinks. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. Every single team member goes above and beyond to make you feel like a valued guest. That level of hospitality never wavers right up until the very last moment. As we were departing, the bellman and valet team were right there ensuring we had cold water and drinks for the road ahead. An incredible stay from start to finish. Kempinski Palace Engelberg sets a gold standard for luxury service."

Hotel Panorama

10/10 Excellent

"The photos do not do this place justice. The view we had from our room, overlooking the mountains in front of us, the cable car going through the morning and into the night, sitting on the private balcony. The meal we had in the restaurant, again overlooking the stunning vista, great beer and service . You could park down in the garage under the hotel. The roads leading to it, stunning, picturesque. Absolutely loved it."
