Red Lion in Susanville

"We booked it because of the location. My guys love to fish and this was lakeshore and I can see them from the window if I wanted to. Karen and Clint were the most present owners I’ve ever experienced. There to make sure we were welcomed, addressed with persistence any issues we had (tv got fixed) or that others had near the property, some people might be put off but we were delighted. Had great tips on who to chat up in town on the best fishing spots (not everyone likes to give that away) and where to eat, all the locals were friendly, we even went to Easter mass in town. Guys got lucky and caught a couple of fishes, so in addition to all else mentioned, this sealed the deal and we’ll probably be back. "

"We were surprised how nicely renovated & comfortable the hotel was. It is definitely on or list for the place to stay as we stop in Susanville. We would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a nice clean place to stay for the night."

"A lot of machinery noise in our room"

"The room was clean and had plenty of towels. The blankets were really thin, I would've liked thicker ones but, we made it work. Staff was super nice and helpful they had s'mores supplies ready to go for the fire pit, and were very nice about turning up the heat in the hot tub. They had coffee and water in the lobby, and cookies and mints by the front desk which my kids loved. Breakfast was decent. My kids said the biscuits were really hard and dry, but otherwise everything was good. I have celiac disease so I brought my own food which was to be expected. Location was close to the lake, dollar general & a couple of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Clean room, easy parking, easy online checkin and checkout. Clise to Lassen National Park. Beautiful meadow outside of room with a creek flowing through. Mountain view. Nice tv, but I had to log in to my own Roku account to watch anything. Wifi was good. All in all a very good experience..We will definitely be back."
