"We had a family vacation and had 5 rooms. They were all very clean, nice rooms. The views are wonderful from the balconies. We had a corner room on the 6th floor, and we will absolutely be asking for that room again. The lady who cleaned our room was fantastic. We had several children with us, and they tracked some sand in from the beach. She was very kind and cheerful, and cleaned everything up super well. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone traveling or staying in the area."

"We had no idea what to expect on this trip never having visited Carolina Beach previously. The whole trip was great! The Oceaneer was very nicely remodeled and modernized but had a chic style that wasn’t just another hotel chain property type vibe. The location on the beachfront was excellent and our room was nicely appointed. About the only negatives werr the fact that we didn’t have a microwave in the room and the gym air conditioner was not working and so it was super hot and stuffy in the room. I have to say though that the staff did allow us to leave the door open to let some air circulate in and the equipment itself was too notch for a hotel gym and all functioning appropriately. We will stay again in the future."

"Our stay was great! The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful. We had an issue with our tv and maintenance was there within 2 minutes of our call to fix the tv. The indoor pool was great for our 4 year old son on a rainy morning. Breakfast was great with a wide variety to choose from. I accidentally forgot my toothbrush and the front desk was able to provide me with one along with toothpaste. Highly recommend!"

"The property was clean. Breakfast was good . My room was clean however I did find an old receipt within the bedsheets. We're the sheets ever changed? Maybe it fell while the cleaning attendant put on new sheets? I didn't find the receipt until the next day after I checked into the room."

"The property is beautiful! The rooms are very Modern. All rooms face the river which gives a nice view! I highly recommend this hotel. The river beach is that great that I thought it was an ocean beach. My only observations are that the front desk is not 24 hours so you better check in before they close or make sure you reach out to them ahead so they can give you instructions how to check in after they close and that the parking lot is not too big and you might find difficulty parking if you arrive late at night."
