Clean, comfortable and a short stroll to the beach. Nice decks and the sound of the waves as you drift off to sleep. Really enjoyed our break there. House was well stocked and had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Retreat beach houses in Perigian Beach. The houses are privately owned and each one is different. We lucked out with a unit with wonderful furniture and everything we needed. The houses themselves are on the older side and I enjoyed the charming 80s style architecture with tongue and groove ceiling, and louvers. These houses are designed to breathe and stay cool during the hot Australian summer days. Enjoyed having a separated living and sleeping area so we could enjoy ourselves while the kids slept peacefully. Loved the property and the grounds with the fantastic swimming pool, great privacy, tennis court, and of course easy walking access to the beach. We will definitely return.

A wonderful location with the most amazing beaches. Restaurants were a short drive away. The beach houses are clean but starting to look a bit tired and could do with a refresh.

Very clean and perfectly located to the beach. Staff were lovely. Only thing was there are stairs separating the bedrooms/toilets from the living area which I didn't know beforehand, this was a bit rough for my mum who came with us and needs a knee replacement. Other than that, can't fault the place.

View of the water was very limited (wouldn’t say any are “sea view” because of the national park in front of the buildings which fair enough. Were spacious and clean but pretty dated. Very comfortable beds and a quick scary (snakes) walk to the beach which isn’t patrolled. Would stay again, but prefer Noosa.

Alles Top, aber….

Lage, Ausstattung und Einrichtungen sind perfekt. Wir haben uns aks Famile sehr wohl gefühlt. Unserer Ansicht nach wird der Unterhalt und die Sauberkeit etwas vernachlässigt. Mehere verstopfte Abflüsse und gefühlt die Hälfte der Glühbirnen waren defekt. Austausch der Wäsche und Handtücher und kurze Reinigung auch bei 1-wöchtigem Aufenthalt nur gegen Gebühr von 160 AUD. Wir würden die Unterkunft aber jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie nur weiterempfehlen.

Overall we had a good stay, the property was clean and the location is good, quiet, close to the beach, 10mins to Noosa and a few minutes to cafes and the local iga. Not an issue overly but something to note which may impact on others - a few safety things I found if traveling with small children/babies/toddlers - the windows on the second floor open fully and no fly screen or safety screens - also not great for insect factor. Then the stairs outside leading from the bedroom to the living area again safety for a little child with the stairs being open. Like I said not a major issue if you’re alert however accidents happen in the blink of an eye so just found in a little odd that the bottom had fly screen but the top level did not? Communication was a lower level just because at one stage there were electricians in our car port spot when we got home and we were not informed of this and then we also found half a dozen or more screws left in the spot (not safe for wheels). But as I said the property itself is nice and the location is beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves with those couple of things to note :)

Wow! Such an amazing experience. The Beach House was amazing. Clean, bright, airy, nice and private and had everything we needed for a nice little get away. It would also be perfect for families! Well worth our money and we will be back again!

Much needed retreat

for us 2 adults this was wonderful and much needed retreat from the stresses of work-life in Sydney - right on beach and not surrounded by overdevelopment. It was good to be there in the off-season. The long walks on Peregian beach morning and in the moonlight at night were a revitalising tonic for our tired bodies and minds. Nora and Dan were friendly and non-intrusive hosts making us feel most welcome and assisting with any queries with a smile. We just hope Peregian remains the gem that it is without becoming too over-developed and crowded -so that those of us that may visit are privileged to enjoy its beauty during our too-short stays.
