"Our stay at the cottage was one of best places we’ve stayed. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Our hosts stayed in contact with us as needed. Sunflower Cottage is just outside of the city and centrally located to all the attractions (Grand Canyon, mountains,Bearizona, etc.). We would highly recommend the Sunflower Cottage to anyone traveling in the Flagstaff Area."

"I will echo all of the other reviews by saying this place is amazing! If you are hesitating booking this, I say do it now before I book my next stay and it becomes unavailable for you. We had a group ranging from 9-88 years old staying for 3 nights and there was something for everyone. The kids never got bored and in fact we could have stayed much longer here! The house was clean, easy to check into, and was even better than the pictures. We unfortunately stayed when there was a nearby fire and the electricity had to be turned off, but John was amazing at communicating so we knew what to expect and he made sure we had anything we needed. We would all love to stay here again!"

"My husband and I would love to come back and stay longer at this location! I was particularly seeking a place that was away from downtown Flagstaff and a bit more rural to have dark night skies so we could set up our astronomy telescope in the backyard. I guess I’m giving away this gem of a place but you use a private driveway and the door to the attached but separate space is in the back. The hosts divided the backyard with mental fencing so you have total privacy. And the view of the hills and the dark sky was absolutely amazing. We could only stay one night but hope to come back for several nights at a time. The location is about 35 mins from the Meteor Crater, the hosts communicated immediately with me with an issue, and the space is plenty sufficient with a very nice bed! We typically don’t like foam mattresses b/c they tend to be too soft but this one was amazing and we slept so deep for the 5 hrs we got."

"This home was a great base camp for us and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. It's further from the city so the night star viewing was pretty cool! Don't see that many stars where we live so we were in awe of the night sky. We played many games on the dining room table, cooked some excellent meals and enjoyed the farm fresh eggs that were offered to us. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality! The Wendorf Crew"

Mountain View Farmhouse & Hot Tub

"Checkin process is cumbersome. Hot tub was broke (we did get a credit) but we were informed that “everything was working” before we got there. Not a great response. House was spacious. Only 1 thermostat (downstairs) so upstairs got warm. Not enough cooking items for large groups (which is what the house is marketed for). Upstairs 3 smoke detectors were removed from rooms (with 2 other functional detectors upstairs). I believe there should be a functional detector in each room. All in all, the property worked well for our group with the above listed issues that we worked around."
