"My husband and I stayed 3 nights here for a babymoon before our first baby arrives. It’s a very cozy little place, very clean, in a nice quiet neighborhood, and about 7 minutes from the beach! It’s just big enough for 2 people, which made it fun to be in a mini house together. :) The back porch is so relaxing and the fact that they have beach chairs for us to use was great too! I was a little worried about how clean the shower would be since i didn’t see any pics of it online, but it was nice and clean. The only complaint we have is that the outlets near the bathroom sink and on the kitchen counter don’t work. But other than that we had an amazing stay! Thank you, Michelle! "

"My wife and I booked this stay 4 months in advance, looking forward to a stay after the crowds of summer had gone. Our stay was during Labor Day week and we were not disappointed. We could see the ocean from our 2nd floor room and walk to the water's edge in maybe 3-4 minutes. There are a few nice, neighborhood stores in easy walking distance that cater to most needs and offer basic dining and the shopkeepers are really friendly. Met several people in the neighborhood and they were friendly as well. The unit accepts pets, but you'll need to bring supplies and equipment for your pet. There's a good supply of dishes and silverware that will need to be handwashed as you use them since there isn't a dishwasher, but unless you're doing some serious cooking, it only takes a few minutes anyway. The days were in the mid-80s and the AC unit was able to keep the room comfortable and easy to operate. The ceiling fan also helped with comfort levels. The love seat was a nice size for the two of us to sit on and watch TV, though we really didn't watch it much. The queen size Sealy bed mattress was comfortable and pleasantly firm, but not too firm. If you are looking for the offerings of a more commercialized area, Ocean Isle is only about 10-15 minutes away. We liked that option because Sunset Beach was nice and quiet. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the property, especially that it was ground level. Everything was clean and as described in the ad. We had some trouble working the lock but we did figure it out. The wicker furniture was a bit dated but did not detract from the unit. We would stay there again."

" The host and owner were very quick to return our text and pleasant when helping us. Everything was very clean! The room was quite small and had we read previous reviews we would have known that fact. The only two issues we had were there being only a microwave and fridge; and we were on the third floor. The information indicated there was a kitchen/kitchenette; and it also initially indicated a one step entrance. It later included the multiple floors on the information. We would not stay in the room again only because of the size; but we would definitely be good to rent another VRBO from this host and owner. "
