Thank you for your response. I want you to know that I am truly sorry that you felt like you were not offered what you reserved. I am even more sorry that you felt the house was not adequate for your needs. It has been our goal from the outset to provide a place where families can gather and be together and enjoy our home in a pocket of serenity in the busy Pacific Northwest. I saw your screenshot of the reservation and I have also looked up the reservation. Unfortunately, the only thing it says is that you rented the house and the date that you booked which was in October but does not give the listing title or details being a 4 or 6 bedroom home. I can see where you thought you were getting a 6 bedroom home as that is the title of our home currently and when VRBO sent you the welcome email it had the hyperlink to our house which is in fact titled a 6 bedroom home. I didn’t reply to your response right away as I didn’t want to have a battle over it while you were trying to enjoy your trip and I was hoping that you would recall making the reservation and remember that it was for a 4 bedroom home. But I see this was not the case and my lack of response only made you more irritated and for that I apologize. I know that the reservation was made for the 4 bedrooms by the time stamp. I didn’t change my listing title, booking page or update pictures until the first week of January. In October, we were still upgrading the loft in between rentals. So if the reservation was made in October the listing clearly said Sundance Circle Countryside Retreat and listed 4 bedrooms 3 baths accommodating 10 people. Your reservation was for 9 guests. The nightly price was $230 which was our nightly price. This price is on the confirmation. Our current low season price is $280/night to adjust for the additional space. When I changed the listing I made a list of all the guests that were coming under the old listing so we could lock the door to the loft. This because of the cost for cleaning, which is currently $240 not $175 which you were charged. The loft can sleep 6 more people than you had on your reservation and we added additional silverware and dishes. So how the house was not adequate for your needs, I’m not understanding. I called VRBO to discuss our situation as this isn’t something I want to have happen to future guests and to verify if I was in the wrong and to understand how we had this misunderstanding. They assured me that I was correct and you could call to verify
