Staff are welcoming and they have front desk staff late at night too. Very close to Ueno station. It’s beside a highway but their windows are able to block the car noise. Had no problem sleeping at night.

Great location, fantastic service, strange odor emanating from bathroom & very warm dry room, difficult to control with fan/humidifier they left in room, otherwise great breakfast and service all around.

The rooms were clean with lots of amenities but very small in size. In a double room there was no space to put the second luggage. The staff was ok but lacking smile. I asked for a sewing kit, they said it was’t an amenity and tried to sell it to me.
