"I have been to great hotels all around the world but this one stands out. First, it is beautifully decorated and designed. Second, the service is better than any I have seen in 10 countries. The bed and pillows are the most comfortable gift at the end of a tiring day of sight seeing. The bathroom is elegant and beautiful. Even the toilet has a water jet. The cleaning staff cleans twice a day and are so considerate.
There 9 restaurants and lounges in the hotel and all are wonderful. We chose to eat exclusively at the hotel.
Security is very tight and one feels very safe there.
The sashimi was incredibly fresh and the fusion dishes of Bullona restaurant was delicious. The prices are expensive but in comparison to New York and Miami or Europe, it is much cheaper.
All in all, it was one of the finest stays I have had, and I have been to 5 star hotels in Dubai, Paris, Rome, New York, Venice. This is truly a memorable hotel."
"I never leave bad reviews, but I had to say, this was the most horrible stay I ever had and ever will have in Cairo!
The rooms aren’t cleaned at all before your check in!!! The tiles and carpets had dust and dirt everywhere! Never vacuumed! The beddings were dirty and had hairs everywhere on top. The towels were stained and had cigarette butt burn holes. The pillows & mattress were bouncy and unstable, I kept feeling I’d fall off the bed! And on top of all this, the neighborhood had some sort of service dogs or something; they were barking ALL NIGHT!! Imagine hearing a hundred dogs barking every 10 minutes all night until sunrise!!
The bathroom was disgusting! The trash can was FULL of trash! The bathroom floor was smeared with dirt and had hairs everywhere, so obviously it wasn’t mopped! Worst part? The toilet wasn’t flushed or cleaned either! Can you imagine? Also, the bathroom only had 2 bars of soap; nothing else!
The breakfast was served late and incomplete! Imagine waiting for the staff to arrive to serve you a patisserie with coffee, not oriental breakfast!!
Everything about this place was a nightmare!
Just to give credit when it’s due, the staff members were trying to help, but it wasn’t their fault the entire place is a dumpster and lacks the basics of hotel service or human needs!!
Please don’t stay here; you won’t find the bare minimum of what you need. What’s listed by the hotel or reviews isn’t true at all. I was a victim of misleading advertising/reviewes!"
"Everything was excellent except one staff member who spoke to me with arrogance throughout my stay. He is at the front desk and his name is Ramses or something similar. When I first checked in he spoke to me with an arrogant tone and I was met with the same tone upon checkout. I didn't appreciate his attitude. Othe than that the hotel is what you would expect for that type of hotel. Other staff are friendly and helpful. "
