"Everything was good in hotel but dinner was not the best so for breakfast we went somewhere else "

"From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and we'll looked after. The great service at check in continued all through our stay. The food in the restaurant was excellent during both dinner and breakfast. The room itself was comfy, warm, but could do with a bit of freshening up. This didn't affect our stay at all. "

"Beyond Impressive. I arrived via public transport in the later afternoon and collected my keycard which was nearly presented in a little envelope by the bar staff (they have a restaurant and bar in the adjacent building). I booked a shared room, however, I was the only guest in this room. There was an impeccably clean shower and toilet with soap in each and a complimentary towel. The room was well heated for winter and had a clothing rack with hangars and two bunk beds. The view of the stream was a nice addition. The kitchen, however, was the bonus. Professionally equipped and brand new and clearly designed with common sense. There was ample space and it was light and cosy. During the summer there is also ample outdoor seating. Everything was exceptional."

"We had the most delightful stay at the Whispering Pines Hotel. Spotless hotel with delightful and polite staff. The night was very stormy but we felt warm and cosy and despite the numerous times the electricity cut out the generators kicked in and we were back on with power with no fuss. My only criticism is the meal prices were way too high and the choices were too limited"
