North Cascades Getaway – Off-Grid Riverside Cabin with Wood-Fired Hot Tub
8/10 Good
"The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need in a kitchen . Ron the host was incredible and super fast in response time. Unfortunately when there is a fire ban you cannot use the hot tub which is disappointing since you are paying a premium cost for the cabin. Would have been nice if host gave a discount for this but that was not the case. One thing the photos do not show is how close the neighbors are to you. We came to have peace and quiet and 4 trucks rolled in with 8 20 year old kids tenting literally a 100 feet away in tents. Needless to say we were super disappointed in lack of being in a quiet peaceful setting . For the amount of money this cost for 3 nights it was not worth it with the loud group of renters next to us. It’s off grid but don’t expect it to be secluded or tranquil."

10/10 Excellent
"Incredible location to explore North Cascades! The cabin is super cute, very clean, with the best stocked kitchen I have seen in a VRBO. It had everything we needed to be able to cook whatever we wanted! And the deck overlooking the river was magical! Loved sitting out there with our morning coffees! We set up our hammocks on some trees by the river so that was awesome too! It also has a great fire pit but we didn’t use it due to the fire ban at the time of our visit. We will definitely be going back!!"
"There was no staff but entry was exactly how they explained. Room was clean and they left much appreciated snacks. Room was cute with bear theme. The inn was quiet even though the parking lot was full. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again!!"
"This place is an absolute gem! The host has thought of every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. The property offers the perfect escape; it’s convenient to town but feels entirely secluded and surrounded by nature. We absolutely loved having the river right at the edge of the yard and enjoyed dining by the riverbank for a couple of dinners. It was the perfect home base for visiting North Cascades National Park!"
"Beautiful cabin right on the river. We sat at the river for hours listening to the water and watching the wildlife (birds and beavers!). It was so peaceful and relaxing. A friendly husky came over to say hi a few times. The cabin is well stocked with cookware and spices. We really appreciated the little touches. There were board games and cards, popcorn maker with popcorn, ziploc bags in the kitchen, q-tips in the bathroom, etc. We are planning a return trip in September!"
"Absolutely loved this place. It's homey, well decorated, clean and beautifully maintained. It has everything you need for a very comfortable, peaceful stay. The best communication I've had from start to finish for any stay. Highly recommend this beautiful escape, especially when visiting North Cascades; it's a perfect location."
