Small rooms, but large common area to use as well! Just what we needed for the night. We checked in late, so the experience was a little unique without seeing anyone, but the staff left detailed notes on the doors and were very helpful. Very unique stay, but kind of fun and different!
We enjoyed staying here to visit Diablo Lake and Maple Pass Loop. It was a nice, private and clean visit with spacious and comfortable rooms and showers. The shared facility was nice and had plenty of board games. The area itself is cute with easy access to the riverbed if you cross the small bridge in town. There was also a small convenience store and a few restaurants for a bite to eat.
Clean room. It was a Common room for like a living room/sitting room. Rooms were just a bed and a bath. However, it was very clean and quaint and we really liked it. We liked the layout. Cleaning person was there and helped us a bit, but I think most everything else is done remotely so not a lot of “help” from the staff. We didn’t see anyone else. Overall, a very good feel.

We had room 114 which is upstairs with 4 other rooms and we all share 2 bathrooms. Our room was super small with only a full bed and no room to put a suitcase. No staff is on duty so call them if you need help. There were no Kleenex’s anywhere
It was great location to the national park.
For a home base for North Cascades National Park, this is an excellent choice. The room was large, clean, had a king sized bed, and had an adorable stencil of baby bears in tree tops on the walls. It was very comfortable with a kitchenette and when we had an issue they were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
This is the perfect location for visiting North Cascades National Park. The room was clean and comfortable, however you do hear everything upstairs, outside your door, and outside your window. There is zero in person staff interaction. The grill across the street was great!
The room was very clean. The check-in and check-out process were simple and efficient. The snacks and water in the fridge were a nice touch. The room was advertised as having a hot tub but there was not a hot tub anywhere that I saw.
Older hotel but renovated recently. Large spacious, well-appointed room. Bed was comfortable, inn was very close to North Cascades National Park.

Clean room , easy parking, close proximity to a good restaurant and a morning coffee kiosk. Nice amenities and quiet. A wonderful place to stay after hiking various beautiful trails on the north cascades
Perfect location for a more-than-one-day trip at North Cascades National Park! Hotel was great with cleanliness, service response time, utilities, and location with restaurants nearby within walking distance.
Quiet and comfortable !
Shared bathroom facilities with other rooms but not a problem, beds great and local eating options makes for a comfortable stay. This little mountain village is awesome to visit.
