There has been quite a bit of investment in the property since we were last here with new bathrooms and a new boiler. Emma and Matt look after the property and the guests cannot do enough to make sure your stay is enjoyable and to make sure you have everything you need. "We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "Wonderful cottage! We had a lovely week away. Excellent base to lots of exploring. A wonderful home from home experience. WIFI would have been nice to be book things but we were able to do most things through 4G. Hosts provided DVDs and games to play which were great. Host’s family were all so welcoming. "This cottage is damp and mould is present in all rooms except living room. Very, very basic cottage with decor reminiscent of the 1970s. Chipboard wallpaper and anaglypta everywhere which has been painted white so many times it is peeling and brittle. Cooker, fridge and washing machine all very rusted with the damp.
