We had a great stay at this VRBO. The location was perfect, walkable to downtown Flag, but nice and quiet and with great views. Inside it had everything we needed and was clean and cool. Would absolutely stay here again.
This casita was the best of our many VRBO experiences. The host provided everything we could possibly need, and the full size washer/dryer simplified a longer stay. The private courtyard—with Adirondack chairs and fire pit—was a huge bonus. The location was ideal for us: totally private, yet close to everything. Beautiful walk and bike paths outside the front door, grocery store and eateries within a few blocks, and a short drive to Mt. Eldon trailhead. This was a perfect escape for us.
This was a quiet and convenient property for us to enjoy a weekend in Flag. I had an all day conference and it was a relaxing environment for my husband to hang out, and convenient to come and go from during the day.
Clean property in great location! Short walk to Flagstaff urban trail system and downtown, where craft breweries and great restaurants can be found. Short drive to Snow Bowl. Very good value and easy to work with host.
Well appointed studio…I was in town for NAU graduation, comfortable, clean and close to everything.
Had family over for a cookout, we were able to relax and used as a home base.
Great little house in a prettt and quiet neighborhood
My husband and I had the pleasure of recently staying here while visiting our daughter who is a student at NAU. It was close enough to NAU and downtown but not so close that the traffic and noise is an issue. The house is super cute and was very clean.
Quite clean and neat. Casita was convenient to downtown as well as an excellent base for exploring area sites. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We found the accommodations to be as advertised and all we were hoping to experience. Peaceful sleeping too. Perfect for a couple.
Had a wonderful time. Great location close to town making for easy walking. The home was perfect for the two of us. Cozy and comfy. Would totally recommend. Thanks for a great stay.
What a great experience. We get to travel up to flag maybe once and year and honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to staying anywhere else but this place. It exceeded everything we thought it was going to be
We really enjoyed the accommodations. Great location and proximity to downtown! Very walkable. Enjoyed our morning walk to Kickstand Cafe. Very close to Josephine which I highly recommend. Close to the hiking trails in Thorp park. Comfy and cozy - just the right size for 2. Even enjoyed the chairs out front for late afternoon reading. Would come back again! Will post pictures of sunset if I can!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Casita was clean, cozy, comfortable and well stocked. However, I rated this as a 9/10 due to two new security cameras not listed in the property details nor are they shown in the photos of the property. More importantly, it’s the placement of one of the cameras which violates many people’s desires to feel they are staying in a private place. The photos on the main house show a flood light, but on the other side of the eave of the house there is a new security camera pointed directly at the casita front door, front yard patio chairs & picnic table area (not cool) - you should move this to the back of the main house to point at your backyard not the casita “yard”. It feels like a peeping neighbor watching you (again, not cool since this is the “yard”). You need to update your photos/description to say “private use” not “private and relaxing” if you have a camera pointed at them. I have stayed at several places with cameras and they always list it in the property details/photos (e.g. front door ring cameras/driveway cameras – which is fine). However backyard or in your case the only “yard” – people should make their decision if they want their privacy violated when they may have chosen your property for “private and relaxing” when that is not how I felt. It's an easy fix for the owner – move the camera placement, update your photos and description. Otherwise, everything else w/the property was fine.
My husband and I spent our anniversary week here. We love to hike and explore new areas and we treated this like a base camp. From here, we were able to visit Sedona for a few days of hiking, Petrified Forest National Park, and the Grand Canyon. It was so nice to come "home" to a hot shower and a comfortable couch and bed.
The kitchen was well equipped for us to make quick breakfasts and lunches before we headed out for the day. The casita was super close to a lot of really great restaurants that we went to for dinner.
We met the host on our way out and she couldn't be any nicer. She gave us a great recommendation for a scenic drive back to Phoenix where we had to catch a flight later that afternoon. As a sweet bonus, she even thew a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for us to enjoy on our anniversary.
We hope to make it back to Flagstaff again soon and can't wait to stay here when we do!
We had a great time at this Casita. It's very clean. Washer and dryer and all other amenities you need are included. The host is very responsive. All the things you might want to do in northern AZ are within driving range. Lowell observatory is just down the road and is a must visit. Lots of great food options nearby and some within walking distance. There is a dedicated parking spot for your car. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet.A couple notes.1. When I was asked to fill out this review I was asked to rate the winery on the property. There is no winery on this property but the review would not let me continue unless I gave a rating for the winery. Not sure why I was asked to review a non-existent winery. 2. The place is a bit smaller than you might think. When I looked at the pictures originally I had the impression we were renting the entire facility you see in some of the pictures. In reality you're renting the smaller building seen to the right of the bigger building. My only reason for bringing this up is if you have a bigger party this might be too small of a place for you. It was absolutely perfect for my wife and myself. Maybe a younger child or two could work as well, but it would be tight. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting this area. The price is similar, or a bit less than some of the nicer hotels and you have everything you need with the advantage that your car is right outside the door.
This little house is nicely furnished and decorated. It has everything one might need. Would be tight for 2 people but OK if they get along. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Very pleasant stay.
The location was so perfect - super quiet and the house was impeccably clean. The views of the peaks were amazing. We absolutely loved staying here and will most definitely be back soon!
Good location in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. Felt really private even though it was surrounded by neighboring homes. Super comfortable bed, lots of storage and thoughtful touches like wall hooks and top-down, bottom-up shades. Plenty of storage space and kitchen is well-equipped. Wi-if was somewhat unreliable, but no big deal. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed this property very much. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of drawer and closets to get your clothes out of luggage and make yourselves at home. Kitchen was well stocked. We would stay again.
The address on N Navajo lead us via Google to the intersection one block away. Very confusing to find in the dark. Should the address be W Navajo??
Also - the bathroom was rather small and a tight fit around the “ facility” and in the shower. Very clean though with ample vanity storage.
Thank you for this lovely place.
My boyfriend and I stayed a week while visiting the Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, Horseshoe Bend, Sedona, & Walnut Canyon. This home was perfect and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Craig and Heather were very responsive for check in and for questions. On our 2nd day the Keurig coffee maker stopped working. I texted Craig and even though they were traveling he offered to have someone buy a new Keurig and bring it over to the house. Fantastic hosts! We did not have them replace it during our stay because they had a backup coffee pot in the home that we were able to use. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals including a cabinet full of spices. This home was cozy and comfortable as well. Just perfect for 2 and a great homebase for our adventures. We plan to return to the area next year and will definitely stay here again.
We chose to stay in Flagstaff as it was centrally located to several things we wanted to see. It’s tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood with lots of amenities close by. House was clean, bed was comfortable and it had great mountain views!
The cottage had a great bed, new appliances, everything one could need including toiletries. Easy walking distance to restaurants and downtown activities.
