All communications with the host, Brendan, were excellent. We really felt welcomed. The suite is absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location for spending time in Stratford. We parked our rental car in the reserved parking and just walked everywhere we needed to go. We are already looking forward to staying at the Bradshaw Lofts on our next visit to Ontario.
Location three blocks from Via rail station and 3 or 4 blocks from Stratford downtown, restaurants and Avon theatre. Unit is in beautifully renovated old industrial building, sandblasted brick walls and exposed wooden beams etc. Unit itself was rather small and fairly spartan in amenities. Bed ok but not great and tv without access to news or sports broadcasts, only aps like Netflix and Utube. There were new looking kitchen appliances, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, microwave and oven and washer/dryer in unit. We didn't use any of that so unit might make more sense for those wanting a housekeeping type of place. Bathroom lacked amenities such as hand soap and tissues. There were bottles of shampoo and body wash on the floor of the shower. There is no concierge in the building and call to phone number provided went unanswered with no message ability however my email over TV challenges was answered promptly. Overall this property was good and certainly well located. However (Expedia editing does not allow me to put in actual rates) but it was expensive for two nights including all the add on fees I expected something more special.
Great location….the Y across the street with a pool

the only issue was the rather complicated locking system, information on how to get in was good but sent a bit to close to the stay for peace of mind. Would stay there again for sure!

Disliked: Check-in, communication
The place itself was great. Keycard faulty resulting in 4-hr delayed room access impacting first afternoon/night considerably. Despite multiple requests for an interactive call to resolve issue quickly-only suggestions were through texts assuming I would be standing outside the door to apt for hours. Incredibly frustrating with no re-compensation offered.
It was just as advertised - we walked everywhere, it is a beautiful loft. Two small issues - the key card didn’t work when we got there although easily fixed after calling the host - 5 mins and fixed. The other was no shelf/space to put things in the bathroom - not a big issue, just a small annoyance.
First impression was a clean, well designed space with plenty of room for our requirements. The kitchen was nicely appointed. Our overall stay was very enjoyable. If we were to be nitpicky (and we say this as a fellow VRBO host offering constructive criticism):- there was no adequate space to open up more than one suitcase other than the floor- there was no adequate space for toiletries in the bathroom other than the floor- the two towels provided were quite skimpy, fortunately my wife brought her own towel- no hook to hang a towel near the shower for easy access after shower- we ran out of toilet paper at the end of day three- the wi-fi access and television instructions should be included in the check-in informationHonestly, we don’t mean to be overly critical. We really did enjoy our stay. We just offer these opinions to help provide a better experience for other customers.
