A lovely relaxing place, a very warm welcome .

This is my second stay at Tairoa Lodge. It is a beautifully restored house with kauri floors and staircase, set in a large garden. Outside, the kauri trees, although young for kauri trees, are magnificent. Linda was an attentive host with a good eye for the details that make your stay memorable. Highly recommended for a taste of historic New Zealand.

Excellent place, staff very friendly, great location, very central, would definitely stay again

The staff were super friendly. Loved the free gift and the snacks for the kids. Great location with the pool and park across the road.

The location for our needs was fantastic. Service was exceptional. The comfort of the room fabulous.

Stunning location. Beautiful gardens and ‘secret’ pathways. Very quiet. Comfortable beds and powerful shower! Beautiful lounge and dining area and well set up with pool table. Would be great for a group but also relaxing for a couple. Wonderful stay.

Really great place, friendly staff, very clean and tidy, full cooking facilities in our room which was great.

Clean and ample parking
