We had a great stay at this hotel for our anniversary. The staff was so helpful and kind. We left a bag in our rental car that we had returned and they helped us locate the bag by helping us translate with the rental company. They also had great suggestions for things to do around the area and businesses that rented bikes. If you want to be close to the church and in a fun area this place is perfect.

Was very dissatisfied with this hotel. There was one lady at the counter that was fantastic and went out of her way to be fantastic! But unfortunately the bathroom in our room was very dirty! The toilet was not even close to being acceptably clean. The other lady at the front at night gave us some recommendations for a place to have a drink, but the next day we were grabbing coffee at the coffee bar, which we were told was complimentary for guests, and she asked us if we were staying there and to see our room keys. Which blew my mind because we literally had just spoken with her a few times the night before. Just overall was disappointed in the stay here.

This was such a wonderful little hotel. The staff were lovely, the hotel itself was festive and pretty, fridge and Nespresso machine in room were so convenient!! We will absolutely be back! A drawback would be that it’s very small. And may be difficult for some to navigate. Must love cathedral bells.. and we do! Overall lovely and friendly.

A very pleasant place to stay in city center
City central location, right next to the cathedral. Very clean and nice. Room is spacious considering the location. However two potential issues for the fellow travelers. The location needs quiet a bit of walking to reach from the public transportation. Not very luggage friendly especially on the pebble streets. When there is Christmas market, even taxi can only park quite far away. Another thing is the church will play sound/music late at night. We stayed for the Christmas Eve, so not sure if that is for Christmas only.

The location can't be beat, the Christmas Market was literally right outside our door. It was comfortable and modern, but seemed to prize form over function. The room was generally clean, but there were some spots in the bathrooms that weren't super clean. But honestly, nothing that would keep me from booking here again. Staff was friendly.

Getting to the hotel is tricky, you have to bring your suitcase up a cobble stone hill! It might be helpful when the hotel sends you their email welcome update, for them to mention that you can enter on the backside at the bar/restaurant where its paved! Overall, great hotel and location!

When we arrived the woman who checked us in announced that they only had one room available and that it had no air-conditioning. This when the temperature outside was 36C! She offered to let us look at the room and said she would provide a fan, but we faced having the windows open all night with the fan going, and the street outside was noisy. The aforementioned women helped us find a room in another hotel, but they did not cover the difference in price, which Hotel Rohan should have paid. Tourists should beware when booking here.

Perfect spot to stay that is quiet yet in the heart of the activities, nicely decorated, seating outside, enjoy coffee, steps from Notre Dame, one block from the canal, nice places go eat lunch, and felt very safe. Loved it and retuning again.

Perfect Location
The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of the tourist attractions! Friendly staff, cozy lobby. Breakfast is quite good. The room is spacious, quiet and the bed comfortable. The only problem we had was the air condition which was not working but they have changed our room and offered us a discount as well. That was a very nice gesture and we really appreciated it. it seems that they have a very good management! Bravo!

We loved Strasbourg but the hotel was just ok. It was more of a three star hotel. Dining options were plentiful in area. Area around hotel is very loud.

The hotel is in a prime location right next to the Cathedral. It's super easy to get around anywhere in Strasbourg from this location. Parking is really convenient down the street...a five minute walk. Parking Austerlitz. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Best hotel in Strasbourg. Literally across from the cathedral. A little small on the room but so cute and the staff was supper friendly. Will stay there again. It’s so pretty and it was very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. 10/10

The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff is all super friendly. The breakfast is varied and delicious. Great restaurants are within walking distance. Could not be a better place to stay in Strasbourg.

First rate stay
It would be hard for a hotel to have a better location in the middle of the pedestrian zone. Hotel fronts two historic streets and near great restaurants. Great comfortable room, helpful staff. Avoid the nearby square, however, when the cruise ship tours descend.

This place is perfectly located in the square with the town cathedral. It is not noisy. Very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops right in the immediate area. People play music during the day and evening in the square and it is beautiful. Very nice breakfast. Nice service. Elevator is key. Room was small, but bathroom was not! Almost as big as my single person room, but it was ok. Bed was comfortable, warm (I was in winter). Pet friendly - offered a bed and dog bowls when we arrived. Lobby is nice area to work, regroup, or relax in evening in the restaurant table area. Would come back to Strasbourg and would stay at Hotel Rohan when I do. Be aware that Ubers do not come to the hotel for some strange reason, even though it is permitted to drive. They will stop on the main road behind it. I missed two ubers and a train because of it. But not the fault of the hotel! Just be aware.

Disappointing hotel but unbeatable location
First I'll start with location which is the best feature. Its superb, literally steps away from the cathedral. This is a small boutique hotel in excellent location. I was swayed by a very low price and the fact that I've stayed there several years ago (at which time I was happy with the hotel). Breakfast was very good, with many options. The lobby has been renovated recently and is decent. The rooms however, need a major renovation. They're tired and bordering on a 3* property. The photos on the website and extremely enhanced and do not resemble the actual rooms. Bedding was adequate, but the pillows were lumpy and cheap. I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the rooms and would not stay here again.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of historic area
Hotel Rohan is an excellent property and we would absolutely stay here again! My wife loved Strasbourg and wants to go back in the summer. She said she would insist on staying at Hotel Rohan again. The staff was great, the room very clean, and it is located so close to everything. Really a great property in every aspect.

Located super close to the Cathedral, in the middle of the historical center. The rooms are spacious with a big bathroom, fully conditioned for enjoying Strasbourg. The staff was super friendly!

Magical Strasbourg
In the middle of the Christmas Markets which was the reason for visiting Strasbourg. Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff.
