"Probably wouldn’t recommend. Firstly, there was no microwave. This was not a major issue but just an inconvenience because we were able to heat up food via the oven. My wife was very displeased with the fact that we adopted a used sponge for the dishes. The stovetop was very uncooperative and took forever to heat up and never heated to a boil for water. There were issues with insects that mainly just bothered my children. We also noticed the light fixture above our bed needed to be cleaned as there were tons of dead insects inside. The wood floors creaked quite a bit but this was fine and just added to the old feel of the apartment (definitely something worth considering before choosing however).
Not a bad location. There are some decent dining options nearby. If you are looking to launch from here to Europa park, it’s squarely a 25 minute drive but you can count on traffic along the main route.. placing the time to around 30-45 minutes.
Lastly, I do not appreciate the lack of communication from the owners. There is an App that YOU MUST download to access your apartment. It’s shows as a recommendation during the welcome email. It should be emphasized much better and instructions for how to use it should be laid out much clearer. In order for the App to work, you must have your Bluetooth enabled. You must receive a code but can only receive the code after downloading the app and associating with your phone number. Overall not a great experience."

"A lovely guest house, room was spacious and the hosts could not have been more welcoming. They spoke very good English. The breakfast was traditional german breakfast with the addition of muffins and croissants. A good selection with homemade jam as well!
Unfortunately we stayed in 30 degree heat and so with no air conditioning, the room was very hot but nothing the hosts could do about this. It was a quiet guest house so we could leave our room door open and the window open to get a gentle breeze to cool the room before bed. There were window shutters which kept the midday sun out.
There was an added bonus, with paying the tourist tax, free entry to the outdoor swimming pool which is open til 8pm so we were able to go there to cool down. It had a slide, diving boards, lane swimming, jacuzzi benches, and various other features, which the whole family loved."
