On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "Great property and nicely updated with modern decor and appliances. A washer/dryer combo is nice, but it does take a long time to complete a wash and dry cycle. The stairs to the upstair bedrooms and bath are very steep, something to consider if you have diffculty climbing regular stairs. Very professional hosts who were right on top of any question we had. Easy access to bus routes, we didn’t use their parking arrangement. It’s right on a busy street but it quiets down nicely in the evening....

"We were staying the night for a family wedding locally the next day. The room was OK but stayed in better Holiday Inn Express hotels. We always seems to have an issue trying to sort the air conditioning out which was too cold even though it was hot outside. As usual we always have to hunt for our glasses! to deal with the settings. We decided to eat a meal in the evening where breakfast is served. It’s not a very nice room & the menu didn’t offer much choice! It was just ok having just driven from Paignton! we were too tired to go out. When we checked in the lady on reception was very nice and helpful"
